Aggie Fans Not Well Represented On KSL Pickem

Just a reminder for those who'd like to play KSL Pickem this year.

Pickem is an football pickem game on KSL.com. It's both an individual competition but also asks each participant who their fanbase is. Then is pits the fanbases against each other to see who the most accurate fanbase in the state is.

The Aggies are way behind thus far in participation. The numbers are as follows...
BYU Fanbase: 782
Utah Fanbase: 536
Utah State Fanbase: 144
Other: 80

The numbers are just preliminary and will most likely triple or quadruple before season end, but as an Aggie myself I'd really like to see us better represented by the amazing fans I know we have and are.

The contest is better this year than last. With better prizes weekly.
The prizes are as follows:

I just tried to log in to join the USUFans Forum group you just created and it says my account has been suspended. They must *REALLY* hate us out-of-staters. I sent an email to support to see what the deal is.

Fixed.

Some classifieds support person thought that if they are out of state that it was 'fraud'. Created quite the uproar here at work.

That got me unblocked, but I had to reset my password. Now all is right in Aggie-dom. Thanks for the quick work. After you responded I still got an email from support telling me that "KSL only caters to Utah and its surrounding states...If you have business in Utah or one of its surrounding states, let me know and I can possibly reinstate your account." I think I visit KSL enough during the major sports seasons (and for various Facebook posts for Utah friends/family that KSL is counting my web hits to set advertising prices, so I consider that "business in Utah".

I got all my picks this week. The Byu score was only off by 3 for both teams and almost got the utah game scores right. I was placed in the 800 range.

This was my best week. Still 185 for the week and 750s overall though.

I think your 750 is misremembering. The person in first place overall is only in the low 500's.

Week 2 killed me. I got very few points that week

I am currently at 369 with 440 points. Seems like the margins are still pretty thin at this point. One bad game could send you 500 spots down

Nice! You're in a battle with my good friend. I only made that last post because I know he reads the board sometimes and would see that I had posted that because he was in first haha.
