Cal 37 WSU 3 for an example with 7 turnovers, including 5 interceptions by former Logan HS QB.

I really wish we had offered Falk and was our QB right now.

Not after last night... he “couged” it

It was a great game to watch... attendance was a disappointment but with the fires it was understandable

Falk had zero interest in USU. I wish he would've, but alas, do you blame him?

He big timed USU when he was at Logan before he went to California. When he was a bust there and cane back we had moved on

That explains why we should go after Jay Hill as our coach if it doesn't work out with Wells this year.

I have zero connections to him personally and it sounds like you might, but you would have to think that given the fact that he had ZERO scholarship offers out of high school he would’ve had at least a little interest in USU if we would’ve extended an offer.

The below article backs that up and states that he in fact threw for Matt Wells “in a brief audition” and he seemed frustrated that he “just wasn’t what Wells was looking for.”

Given those statements, it seems plausible that he had at least a little interest and Wells, along with Wittingham, Mendenhall, and the rest of the NCAA, whiffed on that one, and Leach got lucky that he was willing to walk on.

"Couged It" is generally used in reference to choking a game away rather than getting blown out. But the point stands

SaintAggie is correct in general, but common usage in Pullman pretty much includes any and all screw ups by the WSU Cougs.

Sounds like something we could adopt at USU.
