Hard times for G-Time

Post by ShowMeAggie » October 17th, 2017, 9:00 pm

NAR, but hadn't seen it mentioned on here yet, and I know some will be interested but might not have seen or known about it...but Gordon Hayward looks like he dislocated his ankle and fractured his lower leg in a gruesome injury reminiscent of Paul George's injury from a few years ago or that guy from Louisville in the NCAA tourney not too long ago. Link: http://www.espn.com/nba/recap/_/gameId/400974437 Sad times.. I hated that GTime bailed on the Jazz, but hate to see this happen to anyone, let alone to Gordon. Prayers for a quick and full recovery...

I just heard the news.

That's terrible luck for him and Boston. Sadly I found out about it from an over reaction article on the tweet from Skip Bayless on it. I found his tweet mildly funny.

Edit: OK I just seen the video of Hayward. It's awful. I hope he gets to play again because if it ends his career it's just heartbreaking to see someone lose their passion in life.

That injury is just like Javier Morales from RSL suffered. Hayward is not going to be playing for a long, long time and I doubt he ever fully recovers.

Question : how many all-stars land the Jazz then get hurt?

I think there is a curse out there.

No love for Gordon Hayward after how he left the Jazz, but I felt sick for him watching the video. Best wishes for him and his family. Life is a roller coaster.

Yeah, it’s terrible. John Stockton never played again after leaving Utah. Larry H plays dirty.

Terrible to see. Wish him the best and hope he has a great career afterwards. Just awful to have your season ruined in the first moments.
