Feb. 16, 2018 LOGAN, Utah - Utah State Assistant Vice President and Deputy Athletics Director for External Affairs Coleman Barnes has announced Sarah Landes as the Assistant Director of Development for Aggies Unlimited, the fundraising unit for Utah State Athletics.
"We are thrilled to have Sarah join our development team," Barnes said. "She is a winner, a go-getter and an Aggie, and will have an immediate impact increasing donor support to enhance the student-athlete experience."
Landes will oversee the execution of events put on by Aggies Unlimited, including both the Aggie Auction and the Big Blue Golf Classic alumni golf tournament.
"I am excited and appreciative for the opportunity to take the next step in my career and join our development team," Landes said. "As a student-athlete at Utah State, I had the privilege of directly benefiting from the fundraising efforts of our staff, so I am thrilled to be a part of providing those benefits for current and future student-athletes. Utah State and Cache Valley are both great places to be and I look forward to continue being a part of the Aggie family."
The native of Edmond, Okla., will also assist USU Director of Development Jessica Dickinson with annual giving, stewardship and other special events. She previously worked with Aggie Sports Properties for close to two years.
"We are excited to have Sarah as part of our Aggies Unlimited team," Dickinson said. "As a former USU student-athlete, Sarah understands the importance of raising funds in order to support our Aggie student-athletes both in the classroom and on the fields of play."
Landes was a gymnast at Utah State from 2012-15, earning a total of six all-conference accolades. She qualified for the NCAA Regional Championships in the all-around all four years and earned academic all-Western Athletic Conference honors in 2012 and 2013.
During her gymnastics career, Landes captured 26 career titles, which ranks ninth all-time in school history. She also ranks fourth all-time with 11 all-around titles, tied for 14th with four beam titles, tied for 16th with four vault titles and tied for 23rd with three floor titles.
Landes graduated from Utah State in May of 2016 with a bachelor's degree in marketing and exercise science.
