Re: Prima Donna support group

If this goes to court, in all likelihood Boise will win this, the MW promised them the extra money forever. If they leave, AAC will become undisputed top G5 league and MW will be competing with Sun Belt and the rest for number2. two things: 1. is it anywhere IN WRITING that we "promised them extra ...

I saw Coach Smith approach Abel (who was sitting on the bench) at one point early in the 2nd half and ask him something. Not sure what he said, but Abel shook his head and then Coach walked away and Abel stayed on the bench. I didn't hear what the exchange was, but what it LOOKED like was coach aski...

The win shares tell the true story. We can't afford to bench Brito or Porter right now due to bad shooting. They are contributing in other ways which help. Unfortunately, we don't have better options than them right now. You might be right regarding not having better options, but outside Merrill, B...

Keep in mind that John Gentry played at the same high school as Zach Evans one of the top running backs in the country. I've seen a ton of film on this kid and I believe He would start day one here at USU. If it wasn't for splitting carries he easily would be a top tier P5 player. It's also good to...

Shrine Bowl, Senior Bowl, Etc.

Thought we could use a thread to keep track of our boys as they compete in post-season/pre-draft games. Dominik Eberle played today in the the East/West Shrine Bowl and went 3/3 XP and 2/2 FG (26, 28). Evidently didn't get to really show off his accuracy from long distance, but going 5/5 on kicks di...

honest question: did we like Maile as DC before? I have a vague recollection that we did NOT. We've never seen Collins as DC. 5/22 years as a DC, popping into and out of the position doesn't scream DC prodigy. I LOVED FM's demeanor and attitude leading up to and after Wells' departure, and I'm reall...

True Shooting Percentage.
It's an advanced statistic meant to capture a shooter's (or team's) effectiveness in shooting the ball. It takes into account 2 and 3 point shot attempts as well as free throws.

Re: Can someone please spill the beans about

Well to be honest we don’t have anybody that is out for the season or cannot play. There are some teams that have multiple players out for the the year in addition to a few nagging injuries bothering a few players. Look at the NBA for example, seems like every player is injured in some way or anoth...

BYU has good players on both lines, better than what we had AFA had a 11 win season they had better more experienced player than us. BSU is a much bigger and better program. Guys we have the smallest D-1 stadium in the West, we drew last than 19,000 with last seasons team, and less than 20,000 with...

maybe stating the obvious, but i would point out the lag-year from 2011, when we made the change to the 3-man front and 2012, when we actually saw the benefits of the switch reflected in the statistics. what are the chances that our stats jump WAAY up over the next two years as we are able to plug t...

I like the Wazzu series, but I also wonder if having two P5 teams , BYU, and an FCS is setting ourselves up to struggle. I like the opportunity to play some of these teams. However, I feel that having to punch above our weight for three games isn’t doing the team any favors. You're giving the Fight...

No clue what the hell everyone has against Fink1 and Fink2. Esp. Fink2 gets a bad rap on here. But Fink2 is qualified to be in his position. If the offense continues to struggle scoring touchdowns inside the red zone (well below avg vs rest of FBS teams) there will be a problem.
