Re: Finkbeiner out as women's basketball coach

I'm sure they're great people. I don't see anyone dragging their names through the mud and I don't see anything about social/political stances in here... Did I miss something? The results on the court have been severely lacking, so it is time to move on. It was kind of weird they didn't write it in...

No clue what the hell everyone has against Fink1 and Fink2. Esp. Fink2 gets a bad rap on here. But Fink2 is qualified to be in his position. (I don't see any squawking about GA hiring his son as a coach.) Fink1 has done some good things here. Lawdy its got to be hard to run a non-revenue sports prog...

Not sure I'd go there. The play calls seemed to be much more conservative once Colombi came in. I hope Love is OK had the same thought...gave him one series, then reined him and went conservative (classic GA) the rest of the way. I'm intrigued. No way we're the 9th best job in the MWC, but I do appreciate the approach. I hadn't caught this before, but there is a 100% (1.00; i.e. ...

Re: so how do you feel about the season going forward now?

If the offense continues to struggle scoring touchdowns inside the red zone (well below avg vs rest of FBS teams) there will be a problem. Scoring one td and kicking three FGs won't beat Boise or CSU and probably not BYU. Yup. And our pass defense is going to be tested much more than it was yesterd...

Cant mention specific names on D without mentioning Jacoby Wildman...dude has a great motor and wheels to go with. His lateral pursuit was awesome...more like an LB than a DT.
