In all reality seeds 7-10 are pretty much a crap shoot and are all pretty interchangeable. You start to get some separation in the 6/11 matchups but even then a lot of the 11 seeds are power conference teams who are super talented. It will be a tough matchup whoever we get. Without actually looking at their scores and resume, I'd assume team D must really be RUTSing it on their wins and losing close. Their record, particularly against decent teams, doesn't justify their NET or KenPom rankings whatsoever.

I do feel like Osobor ran into Boone, but I think the way Boone extended his left arm after they made contact is the reason it was called. It had to look a lot worse to the ref on the baseline than it actually was. From his perspective it had to look like a clear foul.

Totally agree there was too much time left. On the following possession, Ashworth willingly took the shot clock violation and New Mexico STILL tried to score after that. If you're going to get upset that USU scored there, you can't try and score after we willingly take a turnover. That's even worse....
