I can think of almost nothing more boring. I can't figure out why guys watch it on TV. I do watch the NBA draft a bit, but it is much shorter.

Re: I am dead inside

Yeah. I'm just sad. The NCAA tournament is by far my favorite sporting event. More than the nba Finals? Stockton and Malone vs Jordan and pippen didn't do it for you huh? If the Jazz were in the finals, it would supersede the tournament for me for that one year only. The finals with two other teams...

We have a championship with the hardware to prove it. SDSU doesn't. It sucks to suck. Especially when it counts the most.

Re: NBA draft stock watch: Rising first-round picks and breakthrough prospects

I love me some Sam Merrill, but there are several things that hurt his draft stock: 1. Age. 24 is like Methuselah when it comes to the draft. It is a huge negative. It would be better if he were 21 or 22. Not many college seniors get drafted. Even fewer that took two years off. 2. Let's face it. Sam...

Guys, we have been over this. Merrill is a great player. One of the best we have seen at Utah State. He will make a ton of money playing basketball. But..... He simply does not have the physical tools that NBA teams typically look for. He isn't especially athletic, he doesn't have great size, he isn...

Re: Most dissapointing team ever

In fairness, at the time we were in a ridiculous tailspin. Luckily the team has mostly righted the ship. Still, despite the MW Tourney championship, this team has flaws and weaknesses that likely limit the NCAA tournament upside . I have concerns about production after Merrill/Queta/Bean. Miller is ...

They made up for it in the second half with a nearly equally bad call on the play where Queta just beat the shot clock on the low block. He clearly traveled. He went up for the shot, jumped, and the ball slipped out of his hands. Nobody else touched the ball, and he caught it and jumped again to sho...

uhh, USU won't get the 11 seed because they were good enough to get a at large invite even if they didn't win the MWC tournament. Little known factoid.
You’d think they’d mention such an interesting factoid on a TV broadcast sometime. Who knew!
I’ll pass it onto our SID.
If you ask our SID, this is the tallest Aggie team since 2014, when we had 6'10" Jarred Shaw.

The announcers' job is to keep people watching.

And to be fair to Dickau, Merrill is a pretty prodigious flopper. We might as well own it at this point.

We have such a little man syndrome. Nobody is"looking for a way" to keep us out. I don't think there is some artificial limit on number of teams from the MW in the tourney. If we truly deserve to be in, we'll be in. If we're not, we have nobody to blame but ourselves, having blown big leads at AFA, ...

I used to be a Spalding guy. The TF-1000 used to be the best, but the past several years I think the Wilson Evolution ball has been better. I don't recall ever using a high-end Nike ball. NBA balls are real leather and have to be broken in significantly. In fact they have machines that help with that.
