Re: What NFL games have you been to?

I watched the Seahawks play @ SF and then @ Oakland. Both in the fall of 1999. Sat in the black hole at the Oakland game. That was an experience. I forgot one. In 2003 the Aggies played ASU on 9/13 and the Seahawks played the Cardinals the next day in the afternoon. I watched both games. It was som...

Re: Thompson announces Boise may play less conference games to play BYU

That's fine, but if a team goes 7-0 and another team is 7-1 I think championship tie-breaking should favor the 7-1 team. No it shouldn't. It should be based on win percentage. So if Boise drops a conference game, they risk going 6-1 and not having using head to head to decide the division against a...

What do you feel Aggie athletes who make millions in the pros owe Utah State financially? Obviously an athlete that receives a full scholarship and then goes onto success in professional sports or careers and makes millions does not owe the university anything. That being said a person who receives...

Probably not a popular opinion, but I'm not really a huge fan of most shakes that people like. They're made with cheap soft-serve ice cream and blended with whatever. A good shake/malt is made with good ice cream and has some milk in it. There aren't many places that make shakes this way anymore. #t...

Offensive rebounding numbers are interesting - and not what I expected. USU's ORb %, though better than average the last two years, were not all that significant against the norm and even less than many previous seasons. At the other end of the court is where the excellence shines. The last two yea...

I've been tempted to show up to one of this coach's other games and criticize him the entire game. Basically do the same to him that he does to the refs and kids on the field. Sounds like they had a good protocol in place for protecting the athletes then the hurricane came through the things broke down. In other words - the kids had a lower infection risk when they had football, the risks increased when football was paused due to the hurricane.

So the other day my son (he's 12) was playing a flag football game. His team isn't very good. There are two really good athletes, 2 okay guys, and the rest are kids just trying to get outside and have some fun. Because of COVID there are only four teams in the league - the other three teams are comp...

Perhaps you should consider taking the class to see if you learn something that wasn't previously "told" to you. Or perhaps you feel you know it all - and so does everyone else? That what they will teach is common knowledge?

Viejas and the Pit definitely both look like the types of venues we should be trying to replicate. Viejas has always intrigued me with the way they built it on their old football stadium without tearing the rest of the stadium down. https://ca-times.brightspotcdn.com/dims4/default/1511086/214748364...

I remember taking a women's studies class about the portrayal of women in the media. I just watched Shelley in this game. IMO, he played really well. He wasn't asked to do a whole lot, but, I liked what I saw. I was expecting to see Kent Meyers v2, but, I like Shelley much better. One of my biggest concerns for redesigning: the acoustics. .
This. I want an acoustics engineer sitting next to the architect. If any surface, corner, angle, material, does not maximize and focus crowd noise toward the court, change the design.

I can't think of a better feeling than what Sam Merrill's dad felt when his son hit that shot. If I could replicate that feeling, I would definitely do it. That's one side of the spectrum - why having a son play for a favorite team could be amazing. The other is if your son plays for your favorite ...

Would you want your child playing for your favorite team?

Given that sports is a business - decisions can be painful. As fans, we are emotionally invested. We distance ourselves from the personal costs of painful decisions that affect real people - which is easy when those people aren't family. But that's not the case if those people ARE family. If your ch...

One thing I do think - he'll be better at USU than he would have been at UofU. Not even Tom Brady could be successful at QB for UofU. That place ruins QBs.

I also think Texas high school football is crazy.

Stop trying to make this about Henry not wanting to complete. Henry leaving isn't about Shelley or competing for the QB job - those are just the things that were the catalyst for the situation.

Henry left because he doesn't trust Andersen.
