Re: Football tix refund
While we are at it, what about a student fee refund for the athletics fees that they are asking students to go into debt for? Students can opt out of that fee at any time, even when sports are being played. Only graduate students can opt out of student fees. It is not an option for undergraduate st...

Re: Favorite Spectrum Moments/Traditions
The New Mexico State game.....I was there with my Pop as a 16 year old. I remember it well. The game was in the 1970-71 season. We played New Mexico State twice, both in 71. We lost at Los Crucial, and won in Logan. Our guard Tebbs, went up for a lay-up and was roughed up pretty good by a New Mexic...

Re: Favorite Spectrum Moments/Traditions
There have been mostly some amazing ups and such crazy games that I've seen in the Spectrum. I would be re-missed though not to mention the biggest deflating game for me: UCI vs USU 2002....Jerry Green's "The Dagger" shot right after Ronnie Ross hit an amazing 3 pointer with 4 seconds left. It snap...

Favorite Spectrum Moments/Traditions
I'm looking for feedback on the most iconic moments and or traditions that have taken place in the Spectrum. For the Spectrum Magic shirts this year we wanted to incorporate some of those moments into the design. Since I'm only in my mid-30's, though, my memory is only good for three or so of the fi...

Re: Camp Spectrum......it’s begun
If Hurd premium jumps the campers there will be fist fights. Campus security better be ready for this. This is exactly why I was opposed to the early entry part and so many others are as well. Hopefully they do the right thing and let the most dedicated fans get the best seats as has always been do...

Re: Camp Spectrum......it’s begun
Exactly my thought. That’s the solution because premium was never promised that others wouldn’t be let in as well, correct? And if they were, it seems they would be ok with letting the few people that camped out who aren’t premium in... they won’t even know! All of the solutions mentioned in this t...

Hit up @TheRealTO on Twitter and let him know you insist these campers get premium seating consideration. KC Smurthwaite responded on Twitter saying that it is his (and the Hurd Committee's) decision. No need to find me on Twitter. You can just as easily hit me up here. Also, just an FYI, the HURD ...

Here's the highest ranked teams to have played in the Spectrum: No. 5 Utah, 1960 No. 1 UNLV, 1987 No. 2 UNLV, 1990 No. 1 UNLV, 1991 The Spectrum opened in 1970 I believe so that Utah game would have been in the old Field House. Re: Nice job students/Hurd!!!
I think some praise for the student section deserves it's own thread. The students absolutely brought it. They were creative, loud, and awesome. It felt like a party again. Hopefully on Saturday that remaining 500-1000 students that aren't showing up come and the corner turns into people standing a...

At the risk of bringing down further ire, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Tim Olsen and I work in the Student Involvement office at USU. I covered this kid when he played at Desert Hills, and he is a baller. Not sure if USU counts as being closer to home, but would love to see our new coaches make a run at him (and his younger brother). http://nevadasportsnet.com/news/reporters/nevadas-nephi-sewell-a-two-year-starter-at-safety-expect...

Re: 2018-19 Gameday Shirt Survey
I’m only disappointed because game day shirts have stopped being game day shirts. It’s just an Aggie shirt. I like Aggie shirts. But I’m probably in the minority on that I want something to differentiate game day shirts from other shirts with the bull on it. I miss when they had the year on them to...

Re: 2018-19 Gameday Shirt Survey
Also, I'm happy to engage in dialogue regarding the current iterations if anyone feels so inclined. One of the most asked for things in regards to the next gameday shirt has been a large logo. Along with that, one of the bookstore's biggest requests is for more stuff with the bull logo. Hence the in...

2018-19 Gameday Shirt Survey
We're in the process of designing the 2018-19 Gameday shirt. We'd like to get some feedback from alumni and students alike, so we've created a short survey. While we don't care if you share the potential designs with family and friends, we'd ask that you keep both the designs and the link to this su...
