Re: Locker room makeover

Personally I would prefer to not have the "nicest" locker room. Obviously I DO want a locker room that is good enough. But I still want there to be a bit of grunge. Something to keep players hungry. I want it to be something that will get them in the mood to go out and hit. Not to stay in and play ...

Re: I don't think Devin likes Logan

The student athlete culture is not the same culture in Logan that most of us experienced. Although any individual can like or not like Logan or prefer HBCUs for any reason they’d like (there are some phenomenal HBCUs)I just don’t think this anti-Logan mentality is as common as some may think. (Altho...

Call me cautiously pessimistic on this signing. Brayden Bell comes to mind based on his limited usage and very poor stats at Virginia after being a highly touted high school player. Re: New Commit

One caution I'd say, is to temper expectations on any player that is replacing a graduating player. It's unfair to compare Sam Merrill's future replacement to Sam Merrill, a future Aggie Hall of Famer. He is one of the best guards in the country. If schools were able to get recruiting do-overs he'd ...

Re: Apparently we a certain team's "trap game"?

How can we be a trap game when we have been a better team the past few years? A trap game is when you play a team that is by record worse than you but they beat you (bad matchups, overlooking the opponent and not being prepared, etc.)

They have lost to teams far worse than us.

Re: Locker room makeover

All I'm saying is that design does make an impact on mentality. We don't need Alabama's locker room. When recruits step in, they should have the understanding that they are football players. It should help them prepare for games and practice. Can it include video games? Sure, but there should be a r...

Seems a bit harsh to consider a person that left because he was right about playing for a coach that had no business being named head coach dead to me. None of those players named is hall of fame material. If they graduated from USU they are of course a aggie. Are you saying I'm being harsh? Those ...

Re: Mark Harlan is a pussy....

Although the PAC is better than the MWC overall, I think they will have pressure to improve their schedules. We are getting to the point where I think (certain) 2 loss SEC teams, 1 loss B1G teams, and 1 loss Big 12 teams will get in over undefeated PAC teams. This makes it harder for the PAC IMO. Un...

For the past 20 years would you have preferred to get a bunch of 2* guys or 5* guys? That being said. At this point it doesn't matter. If you're at a school like UNM (or even USU) I think it makes a lot of sense to be a Grad Transfer- for a better name school. Unfortunately people shoot themselves in the foot with how the Grad transfer is used.

“Top 15” But we are not a top 15 team at this point. If we go undefeated we are barely a top 10 team. Three teams have gone undefeated into the NCAA tournament since 1990. The lowest ranked of the two was number 2. I think we'd be better than barely top ten. But it's not going to happen, obviously....

If we go undefeated that would make us the NCAA Champions. I don't care what they rank us if we win that

Nelson was certainly a shiny object but in the end today USU is a solidly better program than BYU. Maybe if Riley never leaves we over invest in him as QB1 and we are not where we are today.

Media rankings mean less than nothing.
