If he is 6'2" I would be a little surprised. He is stout and looks like a stud on his film.

Re: Mascot changes

USU is certainly helping with vet degrees. My understanding is that the vet students do 2 years at USU and then 2 at WSU.

Tom was a regular in the District Court in Ogden. It seemed his exwife had constant issues with child support from him.

I would say that Spokane was a pretty hard sell until Gonzaga started winning also. A couple more years of getting good seeds at the tournament and recruiting will get easier.

Stall's scholarship doesn't count toward the total because he is unable to play anymore.

Re: The Shot...from my viewpoint

I was sitting down by the SDSU basket and was surrounded by their fans. They got real quiet real fast, it was funny. I will admit though that several came up and gave their congratulations after the game. Different than my experience in Provo.

Another plus is that his dad is a basketball coach. That turned out good with JayCee.

Re: Fresh bread and honey buttery

That occurred after I finished school there. But I did walk through there a few times and remember the place and the good smell. Those of us who have some age can remember getting Aggie ice cream in the basement of the old Ag building on the quad.

Since it has been slow on here

This may have been discussed before, but this would be kind of cool against a team that USU is a huge favorite to beat. Taylor U students stay quiet until after the 10th point is scored then they go crazy. They also are all costumed up.
Here it is:

It looks like they are just putting in new curbing and landscaping. So I'm guessing they will put down new blacktop and it will still be parking.

Re: 2020-2021 schedule

We are playing St. Mary's Dec 12. That means BYU on December 5th and St. Mary’s a week later. Assuming there’s a game in between those two that makes for a very very fun week of basketball with two massive home games. Both of them are Saturday games whichh makes them better for attendance and envir...

Re: Recruiting

It sounds like Nigel John decided to back out on his Letter of Intent a few weeks ago. He's two for two on backing out of commitments, now? Exactly, he would be one to hit the transfer portal if he didn't like how things were going. I would rather have a Justin Bean who digs in and tries harder.

Re: 20 game schedule.

I just don't see any downside to this for USU. Every year USU has had to fill the schedule with a couple of really bad schools. I'm not talking about the two non-counting games each year. There are still plenty of non-conference games to play each season. If you could guarantee only one game against...

Re: Projecting Colombi Against Former USU QBs

It might be blasphemous to say, but Chuckie doesn't deserve the #2 spot on the list. It's cool and all that he was the QB at the beginning of the resurgence of our football program BUT in all honesty, he didn't really get a whole helluva lot done. Other than Utah, it was close but no cigar the rest...

Re: Recruiting

Virginia is definitely not a developmental program unlike USU. He must have some talent to have gone there. He's had a year to develop under Smith's watch. I expect something good from him, but don't expect a Jaycee Carroll or Sam Merrill immediately. We still need a good experience guard to be comp...

Re: Bischoff in Transfer Portal

As long as Bischoff has been in the portal, I don't think he is going to get a scholarship to a decent school. He's probably being asked to walk-on at any schools he's talked to. If he hasn't burned his bridges with Smith, he should stay at USU.
