We need to accept that it's a two way street

We can't complain about Smith gutting our roster and then start threads clamoring for Odom to take who is worth taking from UMBC. I don't like our best players leaving either, but it's a two way street with the ability we have to take guys from the transfer portal.

Re: This just sucks, come on Rolllie

I blame Smith more for this. When you have already betrayed your former team by going to their rival, the least you can do is not gut their roster as well to add insult to injury. Smith is completely dead to me now. There should be a non-compete type clause in coaches contracts that when they leave...

Re: Football player enters transfer portal

no bien I don't think I would normally be worried about a few leaving, but I do find it concerning because Odom said at the press conference he wants them all to stay. What do you expect Odom to say in the press conference? Name a few players he REALLY wants to stay, a few others he would be kind o...

Re: My favorite part of Odom's vision

I do think that nearly anyone we hired would have been able to continue the tradition of winning the majority of our regular season home game, as that's the easy part. The hard part is someone who is not content with JUST having a high winning percentage in home games, but also trying to get more 20...

Re: Odom addressed scheduling in the press conference

The reality is that there are more reasons for teams to travel to San Diego State than Logan. 1. There are teams able to take a bus ride to San Diego 2. For teams too far away to bus to San Diego, you can fly right into San Diego as opposed to an hour plus bus ride after you land. We could mitigate ...

You have to wonder if maybe he doesn't want to apply for bigger jobs and have to explain the incident last December we don't want to revisit, and would rather wait to apply for jobs after at least a year removed from that.

Odom addressed scheduling in the press conference

When asked about scheduling, Odom made a statement similar to what alot of fans would argue about why Stew should schedule tough teams, that you schedule to prepare for the NCAA Tournament, as playing weak competition can mask deficiencies And I do think most of us would agree with that. Other facts...

Odom DOES have a bad January 21 history

As January 21, 2018 was the dark day that UMBC lost to Albany 83-39. And when Odom talked about how things aren't always going to go well, I could sniff that he was going to talk about that loss to Albany which he did. At least now we now a 44 point loss in January isn't the end of the world now! If...

I was just at the Logan DI. One of the workers, without me even saying anything, was like "No Craig Smith merchandise yet". That worker doesn't post here but just reads it and saw this thread and knows everyone who is a somewhat hardcore Aggie fan is there looking for it.

that money WAS the only reason Matt Wells was not fired after the 2016 season? Some people argued, like fans at nearly every school with a buyout dilemma, that it would have costed us more money to NOT fire him cause of lost ticket revune. Or was Wells, cause of what he was able to accomplish his fi...

Gonzaga needs to get out of the wet goat conference. The competition does not prepare them for the tourny. They were in the national championship game. LSU fans are viscous towards Nick Saban despite two differences.
1. They got a National Championships out of him before he left.
2. He didn't go directly to Alabama and instead went to the Dolphins then Alabama.

The contract for the next coach should have a buy-out clause that doubles if Utah tries to hire him. I don't care about ybu, that's not a step up anyway. Myself and my good friend USUBlue have also discussed this. He suggested an in-state buyout of 5 million to protect us against having our coaches...
