Re: Dont get discouraged, remember 2014

Add USU coming off a loss where we have several trips inside the redzone and come away empty. As well as us giving up a touchdown off a short field from a botched punt in that loss like this time. BYU coming off a win, that was closer than expected against a team from the east time zone. And in a re...

Re: Ratball report?

There was one year that people were posting reports of how good the team looked in ratball, then we weren't that good early in the season. So then I learned to take reports of ratball with a grain of salt. One thing that is almost non-existant in ratball is defense.

Re: We are still 3-1 fellas

Had this been offered before the season I would take it in a heart beat. Wished we put forth a better showing today. Interested to see the team and coaches respond. I have been telling everyone that even if 3-2 with a loss next week been offered before the season, we all would have taken it. Just n...

The incomplete pass ruling

We all hated the ruling of an incomplete forward pass. And it sure was more intended to be a handoff than a pass forward. But by the letter, the ball moved forward with his arm moving forward so it was a legit ruling.

Looking at who ran today, most of our best runners were not competing today which makes sense with Paul Short next weekend. It is a very good sign that we are winning meets while holding out our best athletes. Good to know that. Hopefully it's just getting ready for Paul Short next weekend. Who wil...

Air Force's defense

It's easy to be frustrated and think our offense only looked good last week cause Air Force's defense is bad. But Air Force's defense did hold Florida Atlantic to 7 points, 219 yards of offense with 78 passing and 141 rushing, and 10 first downs. As a comparison, against the Florida Gators that only...

Flashbacks of losing to BA's Red Wolves in 2014

Moving the ball like we did that game, but not finishing drives and making so many stupid mistakes. Here's to the next game hopefully turning out similarly to the one we played following that game.

I would say we lost the TO battle 4-1. The fake punt was effectively another TO deep in our own territory.
5-1. The turnover on downs in the first quarter as well.

the kids who returned from last years team. It's not as simple as saying that we have last year's team with only a few different players, as with kids being brought in, it likely sent a message to the returners that they needed to work harder and weren't entitled to their starting job this year caus...

Go back and watch Tyler’s first TD and an AF player has his hand wrapped around his ankle trying to twist it before Tyler pulls it away.

They’ve become my most disliked MW opponent for a few reasons now.

The 2011 team VS. The 2021 team

In a game between the 2011 team and the 2021 team, The 2011 team would gash the 2021 team with Turbin and Smith through 3 quarters and be up 42-14 to start the fourth. Then the 2021 team would come all the way back and win in the 4th!

as they beat Toledo at Toledo by 16, while Notre Dame only beat Toledo at home by 3. It doesn't really work...

It's great if they sleepwalk into the game thinking they just have to show up this year after beating us last year.

One coach I could only imagine something like that not going over well with would be Nick Saban, how he would react to media living in the past causing his players to lose focus.

The Tennessee Tech team was not much of a step above an elite high school, but playing ND which is a solid team is good. Even against New Mexico in 2019

Our defense looked bad compared to how they look this year. It was just the fact that New Mexico was worse than us, and that we got a few lucky turnovers before half, that prevented us from an embarrassing loss in that game.
