Re: Offensive Line

I'm still a bit confused why we don't have some designed roll-outs to help our o-line extend the pocket. Hard to do when your QB is limping every play. Tough kid, but man. He’s takes too many hits. We have yet to turn our spice level up to vanilla yet, two trick plays, one was awesome (another bad ...

Re: Kick/Catch Interfernce

I think one thing the pretty much every fan in the conference can agree upon is that MWC officials suck. Maybe it's because we're not a P5 conference and we can't afford good officials? We just need to accept that good college officials aren't college officials for long, as the NFL scoops up the be...

Thompkins returning to Utah State has been the return of the year.
And one of Anderson's biggest things he got done. All the more invalidating the Arkansas State fans who think BA is just winning with someone else's players.

Re: Transitivity

Here's a fun one for y'all: Utah State beat Washington State, 26-23. Washington State beat Stanford, 34-31. Stanford beat Oregon, 31-24. Oregon beat Ohio State, 35-28. Therefore, Utah State is better than the fifth-ranked team in the nation, Ohio State. There's a guy who is an Ohio State fan I like...

Re: Transitivity

When I make those comparisons, I like to make them for differences of more than one point. Like Colorado State being 11 points better than Notre Dame cause Colorado State beat Toledo by 14 while Notre Dame only beat them by 3.

The clock not winding like it should

Is something you would expect if it was the home team driving down in a hurry, not with it being the visiting team.

Could very well be what helps Scarver break the record, sending the message that kicking to Thompkins isn't that much beter of an option!

Well Anderson moves to 14-15 and 4-0 on the season.
Yikes that one was tough to watch at the end!
And some questionable coaching by Wells is responsible for Anderson not being 13-16!

Re: Q. White, my man

White has NFL potential. Being part of a unit that got their QB murdered tonight while also failing to open any seams for RBs is a big plus in many scouts eyes. The funny thing, Donald Penn was actually part of giving up 10 sacks against Clemson one year. Granted Clemson is different than CSU, but ...

Re: What the #@%$ Just happened?!?

2020 forfeit counts as a loss right? Only in the record book of a season that barely mattered. It's not like their fans or players get any joy out of it. I agree that it should count as a loss. If anything, it made us look worse than if we just showed up, played the game and lost. It's good to have...

Re: This team might be the first Aggie team to win the MWC

If we win the division, we're not winning the championship game. Still, it will be nice to at least have shirts printed saying we are the MWC Champions, even if they get sent to the third world countries. What they should do is let the Aggie students who went on their missions to third word countrie...

The conference pulls off this scheduling in volleyball. Why can't it be done in basketball?

In volleyball, the conference is able to pull off the type of scheduling that is better for the athletes. Having Thursday/Saturday home stands. And getting to make single road trips to play Colorado State and Wyoming; UNLV and San Diego State; San Jose State and Nevada, all on the same trip back to ...

Re: In honor of this week’s game …

On the flip side I seem to remember Turbin stretching a run from the 1 yard line all the way out of bounds. I believe it was either a 2 point conversion to win the game or something to force overtime. Probably the only time I was ever upset with a Turbin run, but I couldn’t understand why he wouldn...

Being a good 1st quarter team VS. Being a good 4th quarter team

I want to see us start better as much as the rest of you, but if nothing else, it's a little more encouraging that we're coming through in the fourth after slow starts as opposed to good starts and holding on for dear life for a couple reasons. One, it's a sign of better conditioning that if we were...

The schedule balances out with us getting our turn to play and miss the teams Boise has to miss and play this year. For recruiting, we need the certainty of telling kids that we WILL play in San Diego, Fresno, and Hawaii once. Not that we may depending on the standings.

It sure is a pain to plan things with these late announcements of kickoff times. Instead, cause of the morning kickoff, I had...

Re: Having the wrong starting QB

It's also interesting how once a quarterback performs at a level fully healthy, then gets hurt, the coaches automatically think just because they are medically cleared by the skin of their teeth, they are back at full strength, but it doesn't work that way, as it is possible for quarterbacks to pass...

Like Chuckie, Like Bonner?

We all remember when we kept playing Chuckie while he was crippled and hobbling and it was obvious he wasn't the same, but the coaches kept hoping we would get 2013 Chuckie back. It's very possible that Bonner is similarly hampered like Chuckie was. It was pointed out on the radio last night that Bo...
