Re: Brennan Ray

B-Ray was one tough hombre. He certainly had a double dose of competitive streak. One of my favorite memories was against the Y in the Spectrum, don't remember specifically what year. He got the ball at the left low post and went straight up for a nasty dunk. He wasn't a guy I'd seen as a significan...

Re: Stadium Journey Rankings

My apologies to everybody for starting this thread. What a disappointment this information has turned out to be for everyone. I forgot to check how many rct's the rankings had run through before posting it to the sports message board. I'd bet these jokers haven't even done a meta-analysis of previou...

Stadium Journey Rankings

I haven't seen this posted yet, but it's nice to see us still high in the rankings. I believe their last one had us at #5 nationwide.

This one's really tough for me. Those are two of the best single defensive plays I've witnessed live. I'm not sure which was more impressive.

Re: Women's Hoops

Here is the problem. No one really cares who the coach is and how the team does. I wish the women’s team a success simply because it represents USU. Although I’m an avid Aggie men’s basketball and football fan and devoted to my alma mater I’ve never watched a women’s game and only occasionally look...

Brito will definitely have the chance to make good money overseas. The Euro leagues still have the rule of no more than two Americans per team the last I checked. Him having experience here and there, along with not taking an American slot is certainly to his advantage. I know a guy who played in Fr...

They've impressed me each time I've watched them. I thought we gave them our best shot in Viejas on jersey retirement night, and they were able to step up. I wonder if the Mensah kid will be back for the tourney. He'd give them some extra underneath. Tremendous win.

He's the best I've seen. He can do it all, and can do it all well. I don't have the longevity of some on this board, but remember as a kid watching Greg Grant. I remember most players since then. Was his layup not a goaltend too? He hit some big shots. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I thought in live action it was a goaltend, but replay looked like a clean block. Nice play by that kid. And there's the knock on Sam's game. While definitely lacking emotion after a big shot, he hasn't mastered the total apathy achieved by the all-time Aggie great in that department: Chaz Spicer. That was a guy who could hit a game-winning three and take a nap immediately afterward on the court if the...

Personally, I blame nvspuds. He was the jerk who suggested a month or so ago that we might not win the national championship this year. That seemed to blow the wheels off the whole thing, and I just don't think we can take that kind of negativity. I'm starting to question just how much of an Aggie h...

I hope that integrity will always matter with Aggie athletics. I hope we never get into the arms race of cheating. Yep, other places do. Not all other places do. We might get a short-term benefit, but will absolutely lose in the long term if we cross into that mess.

To answer the OP, no, it isn't very fun. Every bleeping one of those games should be played on a college campus. I've been every year for the sole reason that the Aggies are there. Hopefully this will be the last year of this idiocy.

I think we now have a solid contender to challenge Mariner's catch against WF as the best catch of the season. Nathan's grab between two defenders, getting absolutely popped, hanging on with one hand as he hit the ground hard, was absolutely amazing. I was surprised to see him back in the game later...

Yes, by more than double. Previously, 26 was our largest margin of victory. We did that twice, in 1975 and in 2008.
