Re: Football Coach Report Cards

I still think it takes three years minimum before a coach can be graded. The drop of the offense and defense looks troubling, but there are enough factors they earned the benefit of the doubt. (Especially with Wells not filling all the available scholarships). Also, last year the injuries didn’t pil...

I’m rooting for them to win the PAC-12 and then get jumped by Oklahoma. The same accomplishment as a one loss Memphis or Boise. Ha.

We play Washington week three next season. I’m excited that this will not be a Petersen lead team. I actually think coaching changes makes teams more susceptible to an underachieving year.

I will say the Boise oline depth chart loved the OT run. They were hollering as soon as he touched the ball.

My takeaway is Air Force needs to lose for us to have a chance and Bosie would need to lose twice for Air Force to have a chance.

Re: Silver lining, we may have helped Sitake get an extension

This brings me no comfort. I wanted BYU to give the coaching wheel another spin. If he goes 8-4 there is a possibility he moves on. I hope he gets a nice payday from one of the many schools that will be looking for a coach to offer a $15-18 million contract. I think Sitake is a better coach than wha...

Their band playing well after USU had snapped the ball or could have and the BYU fan running his mouth all game behind me made this par for the course. BYU and their fans suck.

It’s time to move on though. Beat Fresno.

Re: NCAA to Allow Players to be Paid

The more I think about what is going to happen, the more I think about Riley Nelson and BYU recruiting combined with Ja’Marcus Ingram as a grad transfer. If there is a way for larger schools to fill the holes they will. If a RS Sophomore has a good year, there could be a push to get eligible for a g...

Would he though? I know it's more money, but how much is enough? $6-700,000 or closer to a million in Cache Valley is plenty. Also, He has shown he can be ranked in the top 25 here at USU. If his family is happy here, does he really make that move so quickly? One quick conversation with Gary Anders...

Irish Rowdy, if you didn't want do all of the driving that Southern Utah entails, I have some suggestions. I'm not sure what your budget is for the trip, but a pricier option that I would do is fly into Salt Lake City and then get a hotel room in Park City and go skiing/other winter activities. I'm...

Re: Nevada game - the perfect storm for low attendance

It’s fall break, or UEA as I remember it, for high schools this week also. So even if we allowed high schoolers it probably wouldn’t help much. I know a lot of locals are gone this weekend too. So it could be really sparse at the game. I can’t give away tickets. I think this game drops Any talk of ...

Re: will their failure at Independence result in instability

I don’t see much instability from Air Force complaining. Even if Calhoon got his way and Air Force left the conference, the Mountain West can sit back and wait for BYU to determine when they end their Indy experience. If Air Force stays, nothing changes. As far as BYU. I don’t think they have as muc...

I really like the wunderground.com 10-Day forecast. You can tell the timing of a storm and if it’s likely to be a short hit or miss storm or an all day event. This storm looks like it will be a solid storm spread over more than 24 hours with rain changing to snow shortly after midnight. I’ll be ther...

Looking at the long range weather forecast it looks like rain changing to snow for game day. I’ll appreciate that late kickoff if any perception is white, because rain with temps in the mid to upper 30’s is miserable.
