Re: Recruiting

I hope Yaro comes, but given the number of QBs on the roster and glaring needs we have at other positions, I have to think he was asked to hold off signing in December as we evaluated the recruiting landscape and our needs. If so, Yaro is rightfully doing the same. It's possible that he just wanted ...

Re: USU up to 73 in NET Rankings

I just don't see us NOT dropping a game or two in addition to losing to SDSU again. Gonna need to see this team actually win a road game before I get sucked into this crap again. I think we've won one road game all season (@SJSU). We've shown we can't even beat bad teams in true road games. From wh...

Re: Redemption!

Redemption? Nah.

One win at home over a crappy Air Force team does not redeem prior blowout losses to Air Force, UNLV, and the most embarrassing choke job I’ve ever seen at BSU.

Winning the conference tourney is the only hope for redemption.

This was a “good start.”

A few interesting updates here: - Hirkley Latu, a BYU LB who was mentioned previously, appears to be headed back to BYU as he couldn't find any takers. - Boise just landed a grad transfer LB from NC State who started every game last year. - Wyoming's starting QB against us, Vander Waal, grad transf...

It was an ugly incident. De Souza will likely get hit hard, which is no real loss for KU. I could see McCormack and Garrett serving suspensions too. We’ll see.

With the exception of possibly another freshman running back. I expect all our remaining spots to be filled by junior college transfers. Re: Regressing to the mean

Personally, I think the apparent chemistry issues are basketball-fit related. Bean is a better player than Taylor in a vacuum, but Taylor was a better fit with Queta. When two of your three best players are bigs that don’t shoot, you’re going to have to do some line-up gymnastics. Here’s hoping Smi...

To say these are college kids, so take it easy is a lame statement. These are college kids playing college kids and they're at a level where praise is not the only thing given out. His detractors here are going to realize next year what a talent USU had. The hope is that the supporting cast gets a little better/more experienced to make up for it. The OL should improve a lot. We need some plug and play guys at WR and RB. I like Warren, but he is injury prone and we are reallll...

Was so much more fun in basketball and football. No real expectation in either sport and we won a combined 39 games between both sports. Ended the year ranked in both sports. Will that ever happen again? Not likely. It was a fun year. Finishing in the Top 25 rankings in both major sports in the sam...

After nearly two full seasons we only have one smith recruit that is playing meaningful time, this is very concerning and does not bode well for the future nor for the current season
Bairstow has had some moments, but other than him and Queta, Smith’s recruits seem to be misses.

I thought the first 36 minutes we played the best basketball of the year. We were playing great and then completely crumbled. Just needed one more free throw or someone to make a play and we didn't get it done. The one bright spot is that we played good 36 minutes and know our potential. Honestly c...
