I think Gary has some issues he needs to work out, nothing I've heard just a hunch.
I think he's just worn out mentally and physically. He probably thought he had it in him for one more five year run but obviously not. He certainly doesn't need the money.

Please tell me there is more than this because this is a big pile of nothing and reflects very poorly on the players.

Re: What even was the point

Hiring a HC should be an attempt to fill a long-term position, say minimum 5 years. There is no reason to consult the players; they are the variable in the equation. Some will stay, some will transfer, but eventually all of them will be gone within the next few years, replaced by the next crop of pl...

I can't imagine how tough it has to be for a head coach to fire a coordinator. These guys spend so much time together all year round. They have to develop a pretty strong bond - hanging out and getting to know them and their families personally. To have to fire a guy that you have worked so closely...

I'm certain anything she said wasn't intended in the way it was received. However, that doesn't mean the players don't feel the way they feel. Care needs to be taken when we speak that we make sure we're understood, and care needs to be taken when we listen, to ensure we understand. When in underst...

Re: My experiences with Noelle Cockett (very different from the allegations made)

I agree, this all seems completely out of character for Cockett, but she is losing the court of public opinion big time on social media which as you know may be enough to force action. Would you and others be willing to publicly echo these sentiments online outside this forum? Assuming the events t...

Is it me or does Peasley look at the pass rush and not downfield at the coverage? His first instinct is to run rather than maneuver into a better throwing lane. Not sure if this is just due to inexperience and will improve, if it can be coached out of him, or if it is who he is. As Don Shula once sa...

This is bad. We’re in trouble. To be fair, VCU were holding arms and chopping arms, hands, and wrists of our ball handlers. So....the refs stole another one from us huh? Wrong!!! 1. More calls against VCU than us. 2. They made free throws at a higher percentage than we did. 3. VCU had much better s...

This is a learning experience; the aggressor doesn't get fouls called on them. We need to be the aggressor.

Well, I guess one way to handle players that get frustrated with legacy teammates is totally kicking them off the team forever in the spirit of the moment. Instead of a warm bench and a talking-to, just have a sharp guillotine. That way, not only are you even more short-rostered and under-staffed, ...
