Re: We are going to remember “The Shot”

Is there a way to purchase a high quality photo of "The Shot" that I could get framed? This is the highest resolution version I've found. You could probably get it printed. I haven't seen any for sale yet. https://california-times-brightspot.s3.amazonaws.com/36/05/7a0f96234c0e9b2c1e20d8b37034%2F504...

Re: Why not postpone vs cancel

The tournament is a massive undertaking, coordinating multiple sites for dozens of games. Not only that, but conference tournaments would all have to be rescheduled, as well. They could eliminate some of the logistical nightmares by holding the event at campus sites in May, but I doubt they'll brin...

Winning the nit would be a great accomplishment . I know the op is trolling, but beating 5 quality teams in a single elimination tournament would be impressive. San Diego state failed to do it even with a great team in 16. i agree, especially for USU basketball. More future recruits will come as we...

Pretty much along the lines of Gonzaga working the MWC to get the WCC to go to unbalanced schedule. It's not at all gaming the system...it's knowing what the system is and how to make it work for your school or conference. I thought that "making the system work for you" was the definition of gaming...

He was a terrible coach at Utah. I have no idea what the Bulls saw in him when they hired him. For you guys that keep up with NBA how much longer is he going to la...

Even more recent than that: Malloy Nesmith was getting some talk about a first round draft pick - it was him doing the talking, but there was talk.

I feel like when Brock Miller lines up for a three Bean just runs in for the rebound and knows exactly where it's going. Great chemistry there. Now that is some real advanced stats analysis! We've lost one more game this year compared to the same date in last season. Some losses this year have been worse (UNLV, AFA this year vs. ASU and Fresno last) but some wins have been better (LSU and Florida vs St Mary's and UC Irvine, to this point.) I think the "can we even win" downplays the fa...

Yes, but within context. Able Porter isn't posting on the low block looking for an open look. But if he is wide open on the low block, shouldn't he take the shot? Of course, why wouldn't he? The point I was making is that we don't run plays for the point guard to post up on the low block any more t...

It really is the biggest problem we have had this year. We can't hit open three pointers. Facts, it feels like 3 pointers for these 4 players are wide open almost all the time. And that's the scary thing for next year. They are open for two reasons: Sam and the attention teams give to him. And Quet...

I am surprised no one seems to care how many times Bairstow drives to the basket and either fumbles the ball away or throws up a “shot” that goes straight up not making it within 10 feet of the rim. Those possessions are just as bad as a missed three. To be fair, he did make a much needed layup tor...

I thought he was in, but with KC being so close and with downs to work with- what was the risk reward of challenging? It was a large enough pile even if he is in, there may not have been enough evidence. They punched it in the very next play. It’s a team game. It would have been cool for us to see ...

I wish I could watch Brian Green in Hawaii many years ago. That one was crazy good. There was one against New Mexico State that I loved, too. Hit a couple of 3s in a row and got a steal where he went behind the back when the defender went all in on an attempt to steal it back. The spectrum was rock...

I could see them joining forces with BYU to form a new conference, especially if the big 12 falls apart. Just how many bridges BYU has burned is the question there, but I'd be surprised if they aren't already talking about this as an option.

Hard to nitpick a win but I felt that the ball needed to be in Queta's hands in the post every single possession he was out there last night unless it involved a cut to Bean before that. Bean has the ugliest shot. Starts it way down mid chest and releases about at head height.
Yet his fadeaway three from the corner a few games back had no hitch in it. I think he has it in him, but needs to get rid of that dang hitch. It's ugly.
