Re: Graham Herrell

Everyone needs to give Isaac a pass on this one. Sounds like the only thing he got wrong is Harrell being a self-serving douchebag. Had every reason to think it was a done deal but for Harrell’s apparent bad faith. And if nothing else, I think I’ve figured out who YBA is on Twitter. I’m with ...

Ah, I see. I didn't know about the interviews and you know what? He's right. Offense is sexier has a wider draw.

Re: So who do you hope it is?

ShowMe - I absoultely agree, grab the best HC available for your situation. I think it shouldn't matter whether their background is in offense or defense, both are very important parts of the game.

Re: So who do you hope it is?

ViAggie I think it’s a west coaster as well!! As long as Texas Tech doesn’t take this one too. Graham Harrell it is then? Harrell is making $1.2 million/year at USC. No way we can beat that, right? Lance Anderson is on the West coast True but Hartwell is infatuated with offense over defense so it's...

Re: So who do you hope it is?

Here's my prediction: Frank and team will do great these last two weeks and we'll all get really invested and on board with it. Then Hartwell will pull some clear out of left field guy nobody has heard of and Aggieland will get all angsty and angry. The ebbs and flows of this topic over the last fe...

Re: So who do you hope it is?

How fair/valuable is it to judge Maile as a HC via the rest of season when he was thrown a complete disaster in the middle of the season? There's only so much you can do for a college fball team as a HC in a week or two's time... especially during the COVID era.

Re: This HC search is tighter than a puppy’s butt hole

It’s one thing to recruit to Auburn and FSU, it’s another thing to recruit to USU. It reminds me of how MW was promoted to OC and then HC 1 year later. Too much too soon too fast. Yeah, the multiple years of sustained success we had with Matt Wells (with one outlier year) sure sucked. https:/...

I am trying to figure out how their uvu guard transfer is allowed at BYU with his long hair. Did they get rid of that rule down there?
If I remember right, the main enforcement of the hair rules comes from the testing center. They won’t let you take your test unless you follow the hair code.

Re: Andy. Effing. Peasley.

I'm not taking any win with a grain of salt this year. UNM was a TD favorite in this game. They have been a better team than us previously this year. I firmly believe this is the start of better play for the rest of the year on both sides of the ball. Wins? I don't know. I can handle a loss when we...

I can't wait for 2004AG to decry the new HC when they get announced (assuming it isn't Jay Hill) ;-) Jay Hill: knows Utah, wants to live in Utah, took over a trainwreck and built them into a consistent winner. True. Quite possibly the best time to fire a HC and then minimize the poor football product? I also hope it means that there are more good candidates available because there will be less movement in the coaching ranks this season.
