Re: KAR: BYU's New Head Coach
Man, I totally get what everyone is complaining about. People who start new threads really need to work on their subject titles. I came into this thread thinking I would find out about Calhoun, and all of our new recruits. Instead, I was tricked and manipulated into readying about BYU's new head co...

Re: Aj Storr and going value of top players
I wish the NCAA or Congress would implement some kind of NIL salary cap. Even the playing field a bit. In professional sports, we have unions, minimum salaries, and salary caps (in most sports, looking at you, MLB, that's why your popularity is dwindling; we all know a team can buy a championship)....

But can we all agree there is something very hideous about the letter on his shirt?

Related to the convo but not the OP, my first BW tournament was 95 - Aggies rolled all the way to the final before losing to bottom ranked SJSU, on a desperation 3 by their center. Other than that, huge party the whole time and nobody in the band had a voice left by Sunday.

No offense guys, but suddenly I feel like I'm 10 years old again listening to the ladies at my mother's bridge party speculating on whether Mrs. X is having an affair with the pool boy and speculating on whether Mr. X knows and who's going to get custody of the kids. You want the liberty coach? Pos...

To answer above, yes, I hate Boise more than anyone else in the MWC. They are a very close third behind the Axis of Evil. (BYU-Utah) It's harder for me to hate SDSU, mostly because my daughter was accepted there and I kind of cheer for all the schools that she looked at seriously.

How significant is a location’s cost of living for a single dude making $3 million a year? Real estate is typically an appreciating asset. I hear you. Single or not, it still definitely matters. At least to some. Would you rather have $1 million annually to live in the Bay Area, or $500k and work/l...

Re: Welp...Sprinkle frontrunner for Washington?
Why is it that the moment someone has success here they immediately get targeted while our conference peers and other mid-major programs don’t? At least not that the same rate as us. Is the perception here really that low that people think “Oh $hit!! This dude could win in Logan? Gotta get him over...

Re: Welp...Sprinkle frontrunner for Washington?
Both of those tweets were worded vaguely enough to mean anything. I mean, in my head, Sprinkle has been a frontrunner for the UW job for months. Everyone here knows that Hopkins is cooked, and has only been kept around because after this season his buyout finally drops to $500k. (UW paid dearly to c...

Gonzaga won at Kentucky yesterday. They are in They are 1-5 in Q1 games and only have 2 Q1 wins. I think they need to pick up another Q1 win (by beating SMC or USF on the road) to feel comfortable. If they lose both games, they will be 1-7 in Q1 games and 2-1 in Q2 games. I have to think that's not...

Boise is what Portland was 20 years ago. Their problem is the city is infested with Boise State fans. And Portland is overrun with Ducks, which is almost as bad. But yeah, a big part of Boise really wants to be Portland. Another big part of Boise really wants to be full-on Idaho though, and they ar...

I always like beating Boise, no matter what. One of the happiest days of my life was the game in the Tai Wesley days (I believe) where Boise didn't score a single point for like the first 12 minutes of the game. It was glorious.

I've watched all or parts of SJSU's games and concluded they won't win another game this year, but somehow they do. Super glad that we didn’t pick up their coach this off season. I'm glad we got Danny, but SJSU's problem isn't Miles. for reasons too numerous to explain. If it's the same sort of pro...

There have was great. I don’t get the Idaho Falls game at all. It would be poorly attended. These games should continue, but only against teams that otherwise would not come to Logan. It should be done for our fellow Aggies that live in Southeastern Idaho while creating a better following in that a...

I have no feelings one way or the other about Smith or Odom, as I probably would have done the same in their places, but I am curious if Smith can revive Utah when Krysto (who we all feared at the time) failed utterly. Also, while I am no Utah Man, I won't shed a tear if they defeat BYU.
