Re: On the sports last night psycho looking

Yeah, this is a common theme now. Gary has lost that excitement and fire he had.

It’s why I hope we hire Jay Hill before it’s too late and he’s gone.

Re: QB, Talent, Coaching and Circumstances

We are a developmental program. I know we want to compete with Boise, but they consistently have the top rated recruiting class in the league. We are generally in the lower half. They also have more resources. I want to beat them as much as anybody, but unfortunately unless they turn the ball over ...

Re: End the Shelley experiment

To give some perspective. Jordan Love's first real game experience was against WYO in 2017. Love finished 8/18 for 108 yards and 3 interceptions. I am certainly not comparing Shelley to Love and not saying that Shelley is going to be an all league performer. All I am saying is he needs some time. I...

Re: End the Shelley experiment

Lmao he can’t prove that any of that is true at all. It’s funny he thinks he knows so much about why Bentley came to Utah. He’s literally a projected draft pick and holds a few QB records at South Carolina so to act like he’s no better than some decent G5 QB is laughable. The only reason he wasn’t ...

Since one of you guys came over to one of the Utah boards to tell us how awful Shelly was and sounded just as ridiculous as most of you guys do, here's a little perspective. First of all, this was your guys' first game in a season that was rushed together. I'm assuming you had little to no spring b...

I am still in they wait and see mode... Boise looked pretty damn good to me. I think they will blows the doors off byu. Re: End the Shelley experiment

I saw fight and care factor and some physicality in the second half on both sides of the ball. I figured this would be a tough match up for us right out of the gate and it proved to be that. Boise is going to be good this year and I think we will fare pretty well against the rest of the schedule. A...

Re: End the Shelley experiment

I’m done with Gary over it. We could’ve had 3 more years of Colombi but Gary‘s ineptness lead to this debacle.

Gary does not have a good football mind. He was a great motivator and leader of young men. The motivator part seems to be gone now so I’m off the bandwagon with him.

Good thread idea! Here's my list: - Alabama - Clemson - Michigan - Ohio State - Florida - Florida State - Texas - Penn State - Virginia Tech - USU of course! Here's a few shots of USU I wanted to add as well: https://i.postimg.cc/RJ06zhsV/3-CF22590-60-FB-46-E7-9-A0-A-4-BD2-B07-F5672.jpg https://i.po...

One thing that’s a bummer is if we still had those players were recently lost, the spread would still be the same and I would’ve been confident about covering. I am worried about the speed in the safety/LB position (just like last year). It was seemingly fixed with Pollard at Safety and Lefeged movi...

2020 Player Attrition List

It seems there's a lot of scattered info amongst various threads mentioning which players are gone. I just wanted to summarize and compile it one place. (I'm not including walk-ons) CJ Pollard - SR (1st string at Safety) Terin Adams - SR (2nd/1st string at CB) Caden Andersen - SR (1st/2nd string DT)...

A few interesting things about Sione Lund. - Not sure if we are interested in him or not but seeing as he is a Utah LB and both Gary and Ena would have coached him, I'd be surprised if there wasn't at least some contact made. - He was suspended for spring ball at Utah - He was a 4-star recruit out ...

Jaylen Dixon is a Utah WR I had heard this summer was transferring to USU. It never materialized and I’m not sure we had a scholarship.

Some scholarships have now opened up and now he’s transferring. I haven’t heard if he is in fact coming to USU now, but it seems likely.

Wow, I'm sort of shocked at the low expectations around here. Is it lack of confidence in GA? Feeling that we lost too many important players? Not experienced enough right now to win? 3. Anyone want to bet me that both Peasley and Shelley will see the field often in order to divide up the punishment each one takes?
Not only that, but I'll bet you Legas gets some PT as well to further divide up the punishment QB's will take in our rushing offense.
