Did we get a 5 seed in 2011?

No, but should we be happy about that and was it fair? Should we always expect to get seeded much lower than our rankings? What is NET rankings for?

Re: What seed are we getting?

If we land somewhere around 28 in the NET rankings and crack the top 25 in the AP and coaches polls then I am really confused on all the pessimistic predictions. Seems like really simple math to me. 28/4=7. Shouldn't we be expecting a 7 seed at worst?

Don't see why Sam could not be an NBA player. Pro sports is more mental than anything, there are all kinds of different styles and body shapes.

Re: Same commentators tomorrow?

What about the play towards the end of the game when Bean got hammered in what looked like it could have been a flagrant foul. The refs were by the replay monitor and one of the announcers kept repeating loudly that it should not be a flagrant. I don't know where the announcers are in respect to the...

I really enjoyed watching this year's offense. So many weapons and big plays. I loved the 2012 team and enjoyed going to the Potato Bowl, but give the nod to the 2018 team. I love watching my team blow out the opponent.

Re: Pete Thamel from Yahoo Saying Interview Process Shutting Down

I'm really hoping it's Gary. Any coach is a crap shoot, just like any recruit. Win or lose I loved Gary's passion and charisma. I think USU has some very good boosters if this story is to be believed.

I wonder how many charges we have taken so far this year. I just don't recall very many. We seemed horrendous on defense. I miss Tai and Gary. They would always step in and take a charge

I want ChicAggie to write all of USU's contracts. None of the provisions seem unreasonable to me and would have helped prevent this sour ending to potentially the greatest Aggie football team ever.

I would love to have GA back at the helm. I really liked his demeanor much more than Wells. He is a good motivater, recruiter, interviewee. Just flat out has more charisma than most coaches. Don't forget that he flipped the culture at USU. I don't really care that he wasn't successful at Wisky or Or...

I think the whole football team, coaches included had a miserable day. Personally I hated the play calling at the end of the first half as well. Lack of a timeout could have easily cost us three points.

Wow is quack on the CFP committee since he knows the outcomes of potential games? If I knew what quack knows I would make millions every year betting on games.

Re: Ref blew the game

How dare any true Aggie blame the refs for a loss. We deserved to lose because we are the Aggies. We don't whine about bad calls, in fact we make excuses why we deserved the bad calls & they didn't impact the game. Tarver deserved to have both beautiful TD's called back and just continue to fight on...

Re: Jan 11 Coaches Luncheon Stream @ Noon

Thanks for sharing. Always fun to listen to. TD is a very smart basketball coach. He will get us to where we want to be. Maybe not this year but in years to come he will. He and his staff's recruiting has me excited. In the last luncheon he said they needed a judo wing and a juco big. This time he ...

I think to be a good coach w/ mediocre players, you need to be VERY strict and disciplined. This is where I wonder about Duryea. Is he is trying to be too much of a players coach? Personally I would like to see him more animated and vocal w/ his players. Don't know anything about how he runs practic...

I would hire Kirk Copeland in a heart beat. He is a head coach for a high school in Boise, but the guy can coach & was a great player who has a passion for the game. He loves the game and would give it his all. Never seen a player or coach yet who could match his passion and effort. Somebody is goin...

Re: Matt Wells is turning the program around..

Seems to me people give the head coach too much credit. Probably because of the salary. In my opinion the greatest asset of a coach is his ability to recruit. Take basketball, for example. Many teams sporting freshman have been absolutely awesome (fab 4), Duke last year, etc. Their ability to win na...

I kept waiting for the option call after it had been ran twice, once for Chuckies TD and a big gain on the other. Re: Too bad officials can't call pass interference

Thing that amazes me is the quantity of refs on the field. Seems to me like this should happen more often. I think the Mountain West has one more ref on the field then the other conferences. to me, this seems like it should lead to more penalties and slower games, I hate it. Less zebras, less penati...

When someone is out on the field hobbling around, I don't think you need a doctors degree to sit someone. I don't think you need a doctors degree to see something isn't right. Am I missing something?
