Re: Raymond and Thompson
While this is true. Most players would rather be drafted in the 7th. Its a ego hit to go undrafted.YoungBloodAggie wrote: ↑April 27th, 2019, 4:57 pmIt is probably better to go undrafted than be a seventh round pick. At least you get to pick from a handful of camp invites and set yourself up in a more favorable environment.

Thybulle lived up to the hype. Reminds me of kahwi in college. If he can develop a jumpshot hes going to be a very good pro.

One guy that Sam really reminds me of is Ron Baker. Ron made it to the league for a few years. I think Sam needs to become a better outside shooter but he certainly has a chance to be a role player for a few years in the NBA.

I ventured over to the LSU message board and it was a interesting take. The general consensus is yes we cheat but you cant absolutely prove it and every other big program does as well so why should we be punished.

Re: Stop blaming the post players...it's on Duryea
Anyone who knows a thing about basketball and was paying attention should have known the game of the JC post players that Duryea recruited and signed. A slow, non athletic post from Snow who should be in the Big Sky, and a soft 3 point shooter from Missouri. You can't expect players with those skil...

I think we only have one player who scares me with the ball in their hands. That's a huge improvement over the past few years.

Re: Time to try Hobbs. Myers has been that bad.
I think we're being a little drama queeny here. He completed 67% of his passes and had a 79 rating. Not great, but not the problem. We didn't line up and run at them at all and we didn't decide to throw downfield until the second half. Wells needs to stop going a la carte out of the playbook, scrip...

The offensive game plan has been horrendous. Its like we didnt scout them or develop a specific game plan for USC.

Here is the trick, use an Uber. If it's your first one it's free and if you can find a decent spot for your car with in a few miles then you just end up paying for the return trip. I did it this last fall for the Aggie game and got picked up from down town as a free ride. The return trip cost me $1...

How much are you willing to pay? He did average 18 pts a game in International U18 competition for Portugal, so he has some ability at a pretty high level. I've heard from multiple people Chapman is transferring from Utah and has notified Larry K he wants to transfer. It's fluid right now though and Larry K has tried to talk to him into staying and is also telling him he'll block Chapman from going to the school he wants to go to (presumably USU). Gue...

Re: Harold Baruti
Not super impressed by him. He does remind me of a slightly more athletic JoJo. Seems very out of control on the court and that will get him in a lot of trouble at the next level.
That said he does appear to have a lot of potential if he can learn to control his game.

Re: Disappointed with the spectrum
You can try to defend the front row all you want. At the end of the day there is an obvious divide between them(aka the "cool" crowd) and the rest of the students. It's a big turn off for many. Exactly. Some in that crowd may not think there is that mentality but the fact that others perceive them ...

Very nice write-up, OKA! I have a tough time calling the achievement of a 9th seed "mediocre" We were 1-11 against the top 6 teams in the conference and the lone win was at home (NM). Our cakewalk of an OOC schedule was the only thing that allowed the season to look respectable. But even those wins...

Jalen played really well these past two games and most of all he played with some toughness. He was mixing it up inside with other big guys, he was stroking it when we needed him on offense, he really looked to assert himself more than in the past. I can tell you he had a few rebounds and shots tod...
