Gary was handed a Wisconsin team that had been to three straight Rose Bowls and an Oregon State team whose coach got the Nebraska job so they weren't doing too bad. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk They previously went 2-7 in conference with a bare cubbard left. He also just fired from Nebraska. ...

Do people realize how easy the schedule was in 2012? Even USU's best seasons will have a ton of cupcakes on the schedule, it's the life of G5 teams in 2017. We should've beat Wyoming and competed better with CSU but there is no world where we were beating Wake, Wisconsin or Boise with the very inex...

Are we the worst 5 win team in the country? #YeahButStill Yes, I want fellow fans to understand that this year was not great. We can do much better, and Wells is just not the right guy for the job. I like Wells, and he had some good years with us. Utah State needs to move forward not backward into ...

I'm really struggling to see how some of you are twisting Andersen walking away from 11 million as a bad thing. It screams integrity to me. As for leaving Wisconsin, maybe it's true that Alvarez refused to give up control, maybe it's not. Who cares? The guy resurrected a football program that had b...

Re: I have a feeling where our next coach comes from
I've heard from a couple people in the Athletic Department that the talk of moving on from Wells isn't confined to message boards and that Hartwell had a few names in mind that he had ties with from his previous stops. I am sure that local candidates will garner strong consideration, but from what ...

My uncle works at the Huntsman business school. I suggested the new name would be Maverik Stadium, citing the PR email blunder as evidence. He told me he knows who the sponsor is and wouldn't confirm or deny my guess, but he did say "Spring is coming." Either I'm right or a "Spring" company of some...

There's more three stars in the NFL than four or five star guys. I realize thats mostly because there's a much larger pool of three star players but your "facts" are made up.

6-5 Arkansas is ranked #26 in the AP??? This SEC media circle jerk needs to stop. I don't care if they beat the Seattle Seahawks, a 6-5 team has ZERO BUSINESS receiving that many votes. What else can Scott Barnes and the coaching staff do to earn your support? 8-3 with all the injuries we have had and we look like we are 1-10 right now based on the attendance. Auburn almost lost 5 games in 2011 but instead they won the national championship. Who cares how close a game is? I think you mean 2010 and that wasn't really my point. I think win/loss isn't necessarily representative of a team's skill. It is representative of a team's success obviously. I was mor...

Might be better than Chuckie at running the read-option. Actually, look at KM's first play. Read option. Decided to hand the ball off, and there was positive yards, but the field was wide open, and had he kept it, might still be running. Not the best read. He was, however a great read option QB in ...

The pass to hill could be called a screen because the wide receiver and tight end were set up to block for him on the motion swing pass.
