Re: Coach K yells at own student section

This will not go over well with those students. They look like scolded teenagers busted for blowing up mailboxes. Hell hath no fury like a millennial scorned. More like scolded teenagers busted for waving hello to their neighbor when their parents thought they flipped them off. Sent from my iPhone ...

What does Boise do for Utah State? Yes, they are a name but how many more season tickets are sold because Boise was on the schedule versus a team like Nevada betting on the schedule in their place? I like Boise, I like games but I’m not sure they move the needle like they think they can. They will h...

I saw that last night and Coach K needs to chill. I’d be pissed if I was a student. The crowd wasn’t anywhere near crossing the line.

Re: Advice to help get recruited

Bring him to a game in Logan. Have him contact the coaches before hand and he can come on an unofficial visit, meet some coaches, and tour the facilities. If the coaches can know him and he does well at camps that can help. Even if the coaches here don’t take him they have connections at a bunch of ...

Re: End of Game Offense

I guess I don’t understand the idea behind slowing it down. Yeah it takes time off the clock. But why not just play the same style that got you that 10,15, or 19 point lead? Because ALL college coaches are control freaks that over coach every aspect of the game. They believe that running clock is m...

Re: Played great with Miller out

Miller had no lateral movement and Tweetybird killed him. How about the fast break three he jacked up when a simple bounce pass ahead to Bean would have been a dunk.

Anderson turned the tide with his hustle and physical play. He’s got to play more minutes.

He isn't a good 3 pt shooter. He just isn't. But we know that isn't true, right? Yes, his numbers are down this year, but look at his stretch last year of conference games + conference tournament + NCAA tournament. He shot 38% from 3 over that period of time. If you subtract his 1 for 9 performance...

Is it bad of me to think to myself that it will be a miss whenever Miller takes a 3? I think its bad of me, but it keeps me from getting too let down now. Re: NAR: Kansas VS. Kansas State brawl

Any idiot that steals the ball from a team that is dribbling out the clock in a 20 point blow out and proceeds to try to dunk it at the other end deserves to get pounded into oblivion. That was a horrible decision that lead to many more bad decisions.

Merrill fades away and goes to the ground. That’s why he doesn’t get as many calls as most star players get. It’s hard to finish through contact when your falling down versus going through someone. Merrill has flaws in his fake like any player does. He gets a pass because he’s a damn good player tha...

When our guys start standing at midcourt and hold the b-ball until the clock is down to 10 seconds, I’d say that is a coding decision.

We did it against Nevada too.

These things happen for sure. My issue with it isn’t so much that it happened, it’s that the coaches told them to stop playing with six minutes left in the game. Once that happens there is no turning switch back on.

There is so much blame to go around on this one, but it’s Craig Smith who should be running stairs all practice long after that one. Once Smith had the boys start playing not to lose rather than continue playing to win the decline began and quickly picked up steam. There is absolutely no reason to change the game plan at about the 8 minute mark from what had been working well the entire game. If we would have just kept playing o...

You take your foot off the gas pedal and stop playing Belarus you feel like you have won the game. The credit for the fouls come because usually he just stands there and lets his guy just spot over him or drive by him. Getting fouls is usually a sign of playing aggressive defense. When a guy constantly has less then one foul, they are not playing defense at all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Why are we not playing any bigs after Queta? The small ball team has now lost to BSU, UNLV, and Air Force. What’s that definition of insanity again? Kuba and Dorius have to get playing time. Guys, guys, guys. I don’t want to hear about our players sucking. This one is squarely in Smith.
