Re: Big night for former Aggies.

LIke clockwork: more of the "Koby wouldn't have fit on this team" and "we're better without him" narrative. While I disagree vehemently, I will admit none of us knows for certain since he was never coached by Smith. I tend to believe as long as Koby was coachable -- and those closest to the team sa...

Re: Enoch Nawahine

16 carries is not much of a sample. ‘22 isn’t the only one that said he stood out in fall camp. Game experience is huge, but kick coverage does back crap for giving kids game experience. I dint see how running down the field covering a kickoff helps show the game down for a running back so he can hi...

Re: Big night for former Aggies.

I’m fine with who we have on our team. I feel like we could be in a better position at PG than we are in. I watched Purdue and Marquette last night and I think we’re just fine with Koby taking his talents to south Milwaukee. He could have been a game changer, but I think he fits in better a place th...

There are 20 other kids, including walk ons that could cover kicks. I’m not a coach, but burning his red shirt and not getting carries is a complete waste unless the kid asked not to redshirt.

Re: Eberle Special Teams

I thought special teams had been our bright spot. Ebs is money both in FG and kickoffs. Scarver has two KOs for scores, we’ve also run a punt back. Punting has gotten much, much better with Bartolic averaging 43 yards a kick with multiple kicks inside the 20 and less than 3 yards per return. Special...

Re: The Warren Effect

We need to put Warren in on short yardage situations. He gets more push and is able to move pile forward. Bright doesn't have that kind of power. I was surprised we had Bright in during the second to last drive when we got stopped on the 1 for that reason. Warren ran it twice from the 2. He couldn’...

Incredible catch. Really happy for J. Nathan. He seems to be the guy Sanford puts in to make the toughest catches. Love hasn't always given him a chance. A lot of the throws his way look like throwaways. Seems to be the guy that Sanford didn’t know was on the team until the last few weeks. Seems to...

The trick play was no different than running our RPO crap. There might be one potential recover and the entire defense covering the play.

Re: The offense bailing out the defense

We have had so many games where the defense bails out the offense, over several years. As poor as we were on defense, it's great to see them get bailed out by the offense for once. The D bailed the offense out after their goal line failure and got us the b-ball back to go win it. Team effort tonigh...

I loved watching Wyoming’s d. They are tough, physical, and blitz from a lot of different spots. They kind of remind me of wish our defense used to be under Aranda. I hope we come with a good game plan, Boise’s QB took some massive blows.

Was the stupidest play call at the goal line. Either run run it up the gut - yes I said run it up the gut, or do what Wyoming did and stretch the defense out with a bootleg or true option. I was okay with the decision to go for it, we’ve just got to have a better play. Sent from my iPhone using Tapa...

Love was money tonight and the play calling was much better. I did feel like we abandoned the run game at times and took some ill advised deep shots that left us in third and long. That was a fun game to watch.

Not if you go back to last February. I chose February to cover the last two months of the season. My point stands whether he is scoring 1.1 points per spot or 1.05678755 points. Defenses are able to double Merrill on the perimeter when Miller is on the floor because he only chucks up threes and won’...

He sits 30% and is one dimensional. Look at the Washington game last year and look at what Weber did on Merrill last night when Miller was in. I can’t remember who Kuba passed it to, but he threw a great back foot bounce pass from outside the three point line that was spot on for a layup. It was an impressive pass for a big man. Our perimeter D was spot on tonight. It helped that Harding didn’t play, but it would have made no defense. We made them pay for missing threes all night long in transition. They have won 2 out of the last 3, including a win in Logan. Don’t sell them sort. If Harding is out, that is a huge blow. Incredibly fun player to watch and is the heat and soul of their team. The good news is that they are weak in the post so we won’t miss Queta as much. They have Kozac down lore ...
