Re: Jordan Love & Gerold Bright busted for smoking weed

Claiming intellectual, and physical powers in a debate, instead of discussion the topic at hand shows a lack of control needed to prove your point. But I did discuss it, sport. I felt bad when he said I had flat feet. So if ones point is convincing enough the claim of intellectual and physical powe...

Re: Prima Donna support group

If Boise State were to leave the conference, the extra money that they leave behind can then be distributed throughout the remaining schools and allow them to use the newly acquired funds to raise the level of their programs. The problem is if BSU leaves then the T.V. contract will have a revenue d...

Re: Jordan Love & Gerold Bright busted for smoking weed

Whatever your options are about marijuana the fact remains that it is illegal in Utah. Spare me the argument that it doesn’t matter because it’s legal in other states. Yes, they are college kids, but that also doesn’t excuse this. I expect kids in our program to have better judgement. Especially le...

Re: Attendance

We have the ugly seats discussion at least once every year. An upgrade is not happening anytime soon without a new arena. I suspect that once you rip out all of the seats you'll have to bring it up to code. And as anyone who has say in a Spectrum seat could tell you, the Spectrum is way too physica...

Re: Boise fighting the MWC

The problem is T.V. market if a best of the rest conference is formed with BSU and BYU, then you have the T.V. market covered in Utah. A best of the rest could include BYU, BSU, SDS, UNLV, FSU, CSU, AFA, UNM, Houston and SMU. That conference would be a very good conference as far as T.V. goes, and o...

Re: Boise fighting the MWC

I have read the contract with the MWC and BSU it would appear that the conference will most likely lose, so I expect a settlement to be made out of court. If BSU were to join the AAC we would lose up to $2 million per year on the new T.V. contract. I would doubt they even need to pay a exit fee if t...

First of all the team, and coach did not complain about the crowd, in fact in the post game Bean, and coach thanked the fans that showed up.

The autumn vomit arena is a the butt ugly arena, it is in serous need of a upgrade, and remodel .

I had a family member sitting by the fan that was removed. The fan was shouting many obscene things at the team, including racial hate based language. Roche immediately turned and challenged the fan on the hate filled racial speech. Roche then went and told security what was said and the fan (and l...

Re: Staff Shakeup Ena out as DC

Hennger played DE at both USU and Utah, you may be right with Caden, Devon was one perhaps the only one that was strong enough to play inside, 265 is plenty big enough for a D.E. as is 260. I believe Baker was more in the 245 lbs range. Even though Nick was our best defensive ends at times, I still...

Re: Staff Shakeup Ena out as DC

Stacy will be in the box calling the D. Frank will be on the field. The lack of strength is a issue I believe was a big problem up front as does G.A. Perhaps with the young offensive linemen. Not the senior laden defensive line. Those guys were all played out of position. That's poor scheming. You ...

That all ok but who would you have started at D.T. ? The truth is all of kids would not have been effective at D.E. Gary has stated time and time again that this team was not strong enough. How much weight did Caden, Hale, or Devon put on ? If you do not buy into what I have said that's ok, but lis...

Re: Depth Chart conjecture with shifting back to 3-4 base defense

I did a quick compare of the 2018 roster to the 2019 roster. Here's what I found: We had 10 LBs in 2018 who returned in 2019 - HALF of them moved to DE in 2019 We had 8 DEs in 2018 who returned in 2019 - HALF of them moved to DT, one to TE So we had half of our returning LBs and DEs moved UP to a p...

Re: Depth Chart conjecture with shifting back to 3-4 base defense

The D.line that return were pushed around a lot last season, in the beloved 3 man front you need tough people that can hold gaps those returning will need to improve a lot, With that front you need real good linebackers, on that list I do not see that, maybe they can get faster, stronger and tackle...

Re: Depth Chart conjecture with shifting back to 3-4 base defense

If Metzinheimer and Munos are the starting middle linebackers, we are in trouble. They struggle with lateral movement and just a step slow. That is a worry if we run a 3 man front you must have good linebackers, unless some kids really step up that could be a problem, but kids can change with off s...

Fun to look at. I feel good about the OL for 2020. Our good young guys will be another year bigger, stronger, and more experienced. I worry about receiver and hope we get another Mariner/Greene to transfer in. I do think Derek Wright can play a bigger role in 2020 and Ajani will take a step forward...

Re: Staff Shakeup Ena out as DC

If we are going to judge how good these coach's are based on what scheme they run , that will be a error, because last season we had a huge lack of strength on the D. front line people, and one good linebacker. We were not tough enough. Recruiting and player development is 90% of the job. Scheme's, ...

This increased amount is a great thing, but keep in mind that the increase can not just go to Football, and men's basketball. I would hope that the increase would tone down the money games we play, but I doubt they will no longer played.
