Re: Kevin white interview

I enjoyed the interview from the best broadcast duo in aggie football history. They are not as worried about the O line as many fans are, they do have some concern with the receiver group, mostly lack of experience is the concern. I agree with that part. They are very high on the D. A little higher ...

Re: CFP to 8 discussion

I agree that the invitational would be much better with 8. it would be a good thing for the G-5 members. I do wonder how USU fans would support the school if we had gone to a playoff when G.A. had the season where if we had scored 7 or 8 more points and gone unbeaten. Could we bring 30-40,000 fans a...

Re: New MW Connection Article: MWC Rivalries Stink

Where did you get that average attendance number for Weber State ? Weber is not on the list for top attendance games at USU which lists all the way down to 25, 500. I remember many of those games with a stadium that was at best half full. Those are the attendance numbers from ESPN for the two Weber...

Re: New MW Connection Article: MWC Rivalries Stink

Do we FEEL it? I don't know that proximity, number of games, recent W/L records, and trophies matter as much as the way fans feel about it. I bet if you poll USU fans most don't feel rivalry feelings for Wyoming - and they won't until WYO and USU are taking things from each other. I would say that ...

It is better for us that it is on the road, we have a chance at a great win with Sam and Queta, both are gone for the home game which means we will need the home court for that one.

Re: New rivalry name for USU-Wyo

Why is it called Bridgers Battle? I’ve always disliked the name... but there is probably s reason for it. But on the plus side, i can root for the bull just like I do in actual bull riding without giving people more or a reason to think I’m an a$$ Jim Bridger. Is there a general lack of knowledge o...

Re: New MW Connection Article: MWC Rivalries Stink

Wyoming fans travel to Logan for the game, the trophy started after we finally got into the MWC. When both teams have a winning season on the line and USU loses to Wyoming then aggie fans will become engaged. As one can see many aggie fans worry more about YBU than the Wyoming game which is wrong IM...

Re: New MW Connection Article: MWC Rivalries Stink

We should all keep in mind that as far as MWC schools refusing to play them, would fail because USU does not want to drop them, even if we did somehow refuse they can go to state government, and force Utah public schools to schedule like what they did with the ewe of ewe. The pressure to play them w...

Re: Smith extension and raise

I may be out in the weeds on this, but I am not of the opinion that Craig Smith's ego is so fragile that he would look to leave town after a second year merely because he didn't get a raise and an extension. The teams that are going to come after him (assuming another good year) are going to wave a...

Re: Best spot for season tickets?

The truth is we spill beer on the YBU moms as a form of initiation into aggie life, making their trip into Logan one they will never forget. Let's be open and honest here. This initiation ritual [The Dousing of the Cougar] is very old, part of the ancient arcane ritual usages of Aggiedom, along wit...

you get a parking pass because seats on the west side require a donation. East side does not require one of course one can make a donation and get east side parking. I think the best deal is the west side club seats they are $,1350 per seat but have padded covered heated seats with great parking and...

Like so many threads it gets changed to religion. Sorry I responded to the new topic. When I was involved with the ewe of ewe some folks referred to USU as YBU lite. Of course I do not care what your church does with their collections, but to say that USU alums can not pay for tickets or donations to USU because of tithing is a little hard for me to shallow given the large amount of tickets bought, and donations given to YBU, and the ewe of ewe by what must be m...

Is it not true that with no contract extension that Mr. Smith's buyout would go down for someone wanting to hire him at the end of his second year ?
