Good find Thunder! I dare say there probably isn’t anyone in the country that ends up on their backside as often as Sam after driving to the basket. Amazing how many of those he actually finishes. It drives me crazy! but i cant fault him too much, he is our best player. I don’t like it. Like you sa...

Re: Handicapping the MW 2019/20

I'm confused about the knock on Miller's defense. I thought I remember reading it was Miller's defense that made him a starter at the beginning of the season last year. I know he's white and a shooter, and inherently that lowers a guy a few rungs on the perceived athleticism and defensive ladder, b...

Call me cautiously pessimistic on this signing. Brayden Bell comes to mind based on his limited usage and very poor stats at Virginia after being a highly touted high school player. Interesting that Virginia was his only big conference offer. Hopefully he proves me wrong. Jarred Shaw is the only ot...

Re: Smith in no hurry to use last schollie

Smith sure has a different attitude toward that last scholarship that Stew did. Often thought that Stew brought in kids that didn't contribute with the last one. Yes, he would run one or two or three or four players off the team and replace them with new players who would be on the roster until the...

Any idea when we will get news on the last scholarship being filled. Seems like all the dominos would have fallen by now. Will they possibly just go with 12 scholarship players?

Re: Projecting Next Season's Depth Chart

Any high caliber HS recruit is not going to want to redshirt. Seems like those days are over. The good players don’t want to sit out and develop. They want to play. If forced to redshirt they tend to transfer. I wish it wasn’t that way but the exceptions are few and far between in this age of entit...

We are going to be really good next year, and I don’t think it would be out of the realm of possibility that we get to 14 at some point next season, but we shouldn’t start there. What adds to the stupidity is that they have the probable starters as Porter, Brito, Merrill, Miller, and Queta. Clearly...

Guys we were really good last year too. We only lost 7 of 35 games! I'll say it again, we ONLY lost 7 games! And 4 of the losses came on or before January 2nd! No question Quinn will be missed. That being said I think the future is bright at the 4 position. Just looked at the Washington game box score and noticed for whatever reason Smith didn’t play Taylor a lot, I found that interesting.

Bean: 20 minutes
Taylor: 16 minutes (1 foul )
