Nevada Game time?

News page says "12 AM". I'm hoping this is really 12 PM - noon. If so we may venture down.

I frequently get into trouble trying to be humorous. You would think I would learn after 83 years! In repentance, i have sentenced my self to a year off the board.

I don't remember her name or claim to fame - she just mention the connection with Wayne during a conversation. I didn't press the issue for details.

Re: Best player in the history of Utah is an Aggie!

It's a small world. About 30 years ago or so I was judging the Montana State Junior Miss program in Butte, (The old Butte High school is a wonder with the halls filled with photos of football teams of the early 1900's - bearded brawny lads - they had to close the mines on game day.) One of my fellow...

Yes, the win came in the Great Alaska Shootout. We also beat the Huskies a few years earlier in Logan when we were an independent.

Re: Why can't we dribble/drive strong...?

I learned in the 7th grade that you usually can't dribble against a zone defense. You should pass the ball quickly on the outside, over load the zone, look for the open shot and a pass to the high post all of which we didn't do very well or very consistently.

Re: Homecoming Parade in Jeopardy

One thing I noticed when first arriving in Pullman in 1957 was that every business displayed WSU Cougar donation plaques at a significant amounts and that on game day one could virtually sleep in the middle of Main Street without fear of being run over. Logan businesses cry like stuck pigs if a bask...

Up-date North Idaho College

"RayQuan Evans and Alphonso Anderson scored 32 points a piece and North Idaho overpowered Walla Walla 104-73 in the championship game of the Northwest Athletic conference Tournament Sunday." (Spokesman-Review)

Anderson 13/20; 3/5 threes; 10 rebounds, three assists; three steals; two blocked shots.

Re: Predict the Score - BB 3/15 MWC Semifinal vs Fresno State

Can we minimize the turn overs and can we defend the three point line?

If so it's 78-68 USU; if not it's 82-70 FSU

Re: Is Nevada Highest Ranked Opponent in Spectrum?

We had several teams of national importance in Logan in the olden days: So. Cal, K-State, Georgia, Washington, Washington State, Ohio State - off the top of my head. (WSU not a big deal now, but was then)

Their big three beats our big two.

UNR 81
USU 68
IF we come up with great performances from the other three:

UNR 80
USU 77

My Facebook telecast kept stopping for a second or two several times a minute throughout the game. So frustrating that I tried to get the radio broadcast and the "sign" said, "This event is over" or words to that effect. Anyone else?

The headline in this morning's Spokesman-Review. "Utah coach Larry Krystkowiak boarded a private jet for a flight that landed in Walla Walla. His latest recruiting trip was in a small dome-shape arena at Walla Walla Community College, the scene of North Idaho's 100-60 victory over the Worriers. He w...
