Oct 8th Game Time

As October 8th rapidly approaches, is there anyone out there with a clue as to when the game time will be? Or potential game time blocks? Even morning, afternoon or evening would be helpful to know so I can see if a trip to Logan is going to be feasible.

Re: Bean and the Clippers

The thing that bugs me the most is that the Jazz skipped on having Sam Merrill, Queta, and Bean. How many more Aggie fans would watch the Jazz if the Jazz got any of those players I told Justin that if the Jazz came calling and he had other offers, pass on the Jazz. They are a mess. Every team is a...

"Rawhide"

What does that mean you ask? The action or an act of beating a person or animal severely with a rawhide whip.

Not sure anyone is going to top this one. Even has a song we can play off of.

I'll take this situation any day and twice on Sunday compared to what CSU is dealing with in "the dud." They are trying to find the money to buy out that contract, and we would be looking at a buyout. To some other points, a contract extension with a stiffer buyout will be in order here quickly. Wo...

It is possible to simultaneously hold the views that: (1) Abel is a good player and valuable contributor on the team; and (2) we should have brought in an athletic JUCO or grad transfer PG as a change of pace even though/if Abel is the starter. I really like Abel a lot. However, we have a glut of p...

Anderson and Bean were the stars of the game. Combine stats tells the story with 39 points and 16 rebounds which lead the way of a 27 point margin win. Too many TOs and missed FTs by us. Dorius outplayed Kuba. Brito is beginning to look like a starter, and the opposite can be said about Porter. Bri...

Re: Aggies and Boise makes CFP rankings

I believe that if we win out, including the championship game, we would go over Cincy, if they did happen to win the AAC with one loss. There loss is worse then ours (Temple), and we would have two wins over potentially ranked teams. They did beat UCLA, but UCLA is having a very down year. I think ...

Re: Odds of catching Central Florida

The odds are extremely small we get the NY6 bowl. It’s fun to dream but in reality we have very little chance this year. UCF is #12 today and will probably move up a spot on Tuesday with the Kentucky loss. If we do get a CFP vote, we will come in at probably 24 or 25. Cincinnati will likely be highe...

Re: My opinion on the "Are byu and USU rivals?" debate....

What makes a rival? Above anything else I believe it has to do with competitive history. We have been playing byu for 90+ years and byu leads the overall record: 46 - 35 - 3 or 54.8% of the match ups. In contrast the Utah - byu has the Utes leading the series 57 - 34 - 4 or 60% of the time. Interest...

I disagree. First off this is an adult man we're talking about not some kid. Would the nutcracker have to shave? In accodance to the honor code's men section If worn, moustaches should be neatly trimmed and may not extend beyond or below the corners of the mouth. Utah State played its first football game in the late 1800's... That's a lot of history to consider. There was a period of time in the 60's and 70's that USU had great success. Considering all history (looking for at you, old timers) are there any other games that should be considered?

My apologies if this was previously posted but I came across this list and found it very interesting that we had a higher TV rating than Utah last year. I think some of you are way over thinking this. If they rush now its not going to make a rush later in the season for a conference/championship game any less special. For many, this game is "the" big game. The most hostile, anticipated game, not necessarily most important from a conference champions...

Re: Regarding our 3 and outs, Wells "wouldn't change a thing

These two series in the 3rd quarter, in my "unprofessional opinion", had a significant impact on the outcome of the game. Looking back I think Wells' statement is wrong. It wasn't the individual plays that were called, it was the change in the offensive strategy. We had been running the hurry up off...
