Re: A look at the Strengths & Weaknesses of the Wells regime

Of all the things about Coach wells that bugged me, his stubbornness to change or admit that he was wrong was one of the worst. There were things that were glaringly bad, which needed to change. Everyone on this board, announcers, etc., could all see what was going on, but often times it seems Well...

I made the mistake of clicking the link and actually going through a few of those questions. Those guys are apparently a bag of morons as there was another mistake I noticed. They said byu-p is set to play which team for the first time in 2019 since leaving the MWC. The "answer" was SDSU but the ch...

Re: A look at the Strengths & Weaknesses of the Wells regime

Good assessment, but one of the things that I think was brought up more than once was Well's ability to hire and keep assistants. As you may recall, Heartwell was rumored to have been the one to bring in Coach Yost So what if Hartwell brought in Yost. It still shouldn't detract from the fact that W...

2 of our losses were to Clemson and ND both of which where k. The playoff one a National Champion. A third to a top 25 Syracuse team where our starting freshman qb broke his leg. Our defense was attrocious the first half of the year so bad that we fired our DC mid-season and it improved dramaticall...

Seeing some of those comments are great. They say we have tons of lost production but then say they’ll replace their O line and D lines with no problem. Okaaaay.... I really think the key to winning this game is for USU to run the ball effectively. We definitely have the RBs, but do we have the O li...

I wish I had some of the same confidence with the Wake game that some of you do. I think this will be a really difficult for the Aggies to win. I think we can win, but am not confident in saying that we will. 2 years ago when I went to the Wake game I was confident that we would win and we got comp...

I’m not worried about Wake’s running game. It’s their passing attack that keeps me up at night. We need #10 to have a big game for us.

Re: SDSU

SDSU is a run heavy team. If we can stop the run, I think shutting down their QB will be a very manageable task for us. On defense, I don’t expect them to be as strong as last year.

It really helps we have a bye week before playing them.

New rivalry name for USU-Wyo

From previous thread on MW rivalries. I love “the Rodeo” as the name of the USU-Wyoming series. It’s better than Bridger’s Battle. Makes sense. And we can still keep the rivalry trophy the same. I started a poll on Twitter. Tell all your friends and round up Wyo fans if you know them. I want a clear...

My favorite part of the game was when Rocquemore strip sacked Mangum. The overall game felt like perfect revenge for the 2015 debacle in Logan. Their overhyped QB had his career ended in embarrassing fashion to an in-state rival. As much as we love Chuckie, he just couldn’t get it done anymore in 20...

Re: An overlooked turning point

Interesting take. SJSU is awful, but that was a complete De-pantsing on the road, nonetheless. That Spartan team somehow looked worse than the time we hung 70 on Weber State. We then followed it up with a dominant rivalry win. So 2017 was helping us get set for 2018. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Cougs hired Kalani because it was looking to the past and hoping for success because of legacy. Mixed results at best for them so far.

Are we doing the same thing with Gary Andersen? I have very mixed feelings about this hire.
