Re: Chuckie Keeton now an NFL coach

Chuckie is on my Mt Rushmore of USU football. That won't ever change. Right next to Merlin and Phill Olsen and Elmer Bear Ward. JLove to round things out. Didn't forget Bobby Wagner Throw in Patrick Scales while we’re at it. You'd be an idiot to leave Diondre Borel off. You know who else beat BYU a...

Re: Hillstead Transferring

Based on what I've seen first hand from Petras nobody will be regretting having him on the roster. Sucks that Hillstead left but not the end of the world I mean it’s true. Legas and Petras have been so far ahead of the rest in practices. The fact Hillstead is leaving is because he knows it. If he b...

I would rather have Great, I don't know much about the guy from Stetson. I just think it's weird that he isn't bringing anyone with him. Maybe it's because all of his best players were seniors? Perhaps the jump from Youngstown State and the Atlantic Sun Conference is too big going to Utah State and...

I am surprised that Utah or South Dakota went in to get Dallin Grant since he committed to us during the Craig Smith years.
Wait, SLB wasn't right? Is that an admission?
Better yet, is that an admission that I was? Haha!!

Re: Hillstead Transferring

I’m still not sure why the staff did what they did with the QBs this off season. Bringing in a grad transfer made little sense given that we have a senior starter and a sophomore with a lot of experience. Yet we brought in two grad transfers who had a lot of experience but don’t fit our style of of...

I remember this year fondly, my first at USU. Loss at OU, we put up a fight after going down big early. FCS win, I think Idaho State. BYU win. My Aggiedom was locked down that day. Fresno loss, didn’t feel competitive Narrow win against NMSU. Hawaii killed us at home in the snow. Idaho womped us at...

Re: A memory test

I believe we got demolished at SDSU that season, lost at LA Tech after the y game, and I remember a really cold and wet Hawaii game at home in which we were close in the first half and got destroyed the rest of the way. That was one of the colder ones I've attended. The cold games always seem colde...

Are all these kids and their “advisers” so confident in themselves that they can’t see reality? Re: Hillstead Transferring

Too small. I was hoping if he did end up leaving, it would be cause of us having a guy overtake him on the depth chart that is at least equal to him in eligibility. Rumor has it Zeke Payne is staking his claim for the starting QB job. Which would be strange since he hasn't been in spring camp at all.

Re: Hillstead Transferring

We'll look to take a redshirt freshman or sophomore portal QB. If Hillstead is leaving, it feels like our QB room is not situated well for future years. With the portal and NIL situation that can change any minute of the day so I guess I won’t hold my breath. Are the days of having a young QB-in-wa...

Back to Albury, super impressive highlight tape. Different style of game from Brown for sure, he can get to the hoop against anyone and has way more length. If he can keep his shooting numbers up he will be a great scorer for us

You don't hire an agent to stay at the same job.
Could also mean he is going to declare/explore the be a draft.
This is my thinking as well. Somebody needs to be able to set up the travel and the workout that come with declaring for the draft.

The Estes really should have been like 2500 seats and capable of hosting women's basketball So that 2450 of them could be empty? For WBB it's better than 9950 being empty, and volleyball would have way fewer than that being empty, especially with their recent successes. Touche' my Aggie brother.
