Re: Two candidates
According to Trilly, there are two candidates left. One of the Tod(d)s and Jerrod Calhoun. I am guessing that the Tod is Tod and not Todd. With the help of AGGIEinIOWA, I can confirm that one of those three was in Logan last night. Mind to elaborate on which one it was? I picked out the last headsh...

Re: No Slam Dunk Hire
Some “coach” checked into the now “old” Logan Marriott last night before I checked in. Was with a USU official and got a very nice gift bag. I don’t follow this sort of thing so have no idea who he is.

I understand the tourney is all about matchups, but wherever we ended up (say between 6 and 10), we were going to play a very good team.

I hope not. For USU’s sake first and foremost, of course, but I also love the fact Boise has never won an NCAA tourney game.

Grad student in Seattle. A day or two before the game, told a classmate (physiology or biostats) to mark it down - USU was definitely beating OSU.

Not just 1970, but also part of the first ever elite eight of 1939. That’s big time.
Seriously though, we may win some tournament games this year or in the future, and we may not. I’d rather have a season like this and lose in the tourney than have a losing season and not get in.

Re: Wind is out of the sails
The older I get (and I’m a lot younger than some of you) the easier it is for me to roll with it. USU sports, all in all, has been a source of enjoyment for me and my family throughout the highs and lows. I haven’t lived within 600 miles of Logan in over 25 years, but recently decided to buy season ...

Hopefully bickerstaff doesn't use tonight as an excuse not to play Merrill. Outside of Grayson allen, there isn't a guy in the league I'd rather be taking 3s than merrill Ouch! Sam had been in the top ten in 3 point shooting percentage for a while now, but that one game dropped him from 9 to 16. He...

You have to put yourself in their shoes as the once and future pride of the Big East conference, then you’ll realize the sting it is to lose to a team from…uh…the…west?

J Love Question for GameFAQS
Legas’ first pass in the LA Bowl was awesome and helped the Aggies finish a remarkable season. With Love playing tonight on MNF, I was thinking back to the first time I saw him play in person at WFU in 2017. It was a miserable performance by the Aggies, and J Love came in for K Meyers in the second ...

God, I hope so. He is the least dynamic QB we’ve had in forever.

Re: Baltimore Orioles
I went to the Orioles/Sox game last night sporting my Sox jersey. My sox hung with them until our relievers came in and then it turned into a blowout. Orioles have some real firepower on offense, and lately the trend is that they come on late in the game scoring in droves. I did like watching games...

RIP P12. Even if this ends up being a win for the Aggies, it's crazy to see a 100 year old major regional conference blow up: https://twitter.com/DanWetzel/status/1687503794383331334 It is sad actually. I’d like to see a “then and now” of names of posters in the late 1990’s and a crosswalk with their names on the current board. I would hope we haven’t lost all those folks (though I know we’ve lost some)… This is all I know to reference name changes from the last board: https://www.usufans.com/Foru...

It’s been a while, but we have a handful of wins since 1939. Boise still winless in the NCAAs.

The dude is a fearless stud. Also seems to be a really good person. He took so many wicked hits last year, but almost always bounced back up. It hurt to watch. Wyoming Game Last Year
We got killed at home against Wyoming last year, and from my vantage point, it wasn’t as close as the score made it look. If that had been the first game of the year, we’d have a lot of folks wanting to bail on the season. I get it, Weber isn’t Wyoming, and contrasting the start of this season with ...

It's going to be a very long time before the MW gets 4 teams in the tourney again...like never. On the bright side, USU was not one and done...again. Well we were in the nit. In the last 20 years we are 0-13 in the NCAA/nit. Not great, but it is better to be there than not. We have won exactly one ...

Re: The difference between this year and other down years
Our Kenpom.com (the best computer system ranking) ranking is #43. If the season ended today, that would be the 6th best ranking for USU in the past 25 years (how long the system has been in place). It's hardly a "down" year. We've just unfortunately been very unlucky and lost a lot of close games d...
