Re: Aggie legends podcast with David Collette is up

I listened to very little of it. Too bad the NCAA will not nail Utah, they save the penalties for mid majors. This interview just reinforces my previously stated opinions of David. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk While I agree he acted dishonestly and desperately, and left the team in a lurch days...

I can tell you this. The only surefire starters at this point are Sam and Neemias. Everything else is up for grabs. The players will all be here in town soon.
Only one option at point.
I think anyone of Sam, Brito, and Bairstow would disagree with you.

They’re stupid. The guy took 3rd place or better in the Big Sky in 3 out of the 5 past years. This after coming off of needing to keep the program afloat for several years while conference affiliation was a major issue.

The night of the 2nd exhibition game (blow out loss), copies of the USU Statesman season forecast were handed out. An article featured DC. I think he would’ve used the transfer portal before the exhibition games, maybe even during the summer based on his recounting of the events. What he didn’t want to do was quit without a landing spot so yes, with Utah’s help, they broke the rules. I would love for someone in the media to do their da...

He is still a d bag from my viewpoint. He could have sucked it up for one year, then left at the end of the season. No one with a shred of integrity leaves at the time he did. If Utah goes for it then we're locked into this scheduling status for the long run (see BYU's 2 for 1 football set up with us for decades). I agree I'd rather play a real P5 team one and done.

Depends entirely on the circumstances of the transfer. I think the guys like Collette who bail on their fellow Aggies at the last second forfeit their “Always an Aggie” designation. I don’t think this is the case with very many people who transfer out, it’s more the exception than the rule. Who tra...

Honestly, Aggies legends is just the name of the podcast. I'm not going to get my panties in bunch over it. They say that "every Aggie is a legend so what's your story?" I’m more interested in the Collette interview than Sean Harris or especially Danny Berger. Collette left in a bad way but he didn’t try to lead a mutiny like Berger. Any high caliber HS recruit is not going to want to redshirt. Seems like those days are over. The good players don’t want to sit out and develop. They want to play. If forced to redshirt they tend to transfer. I wish it wasn’t that way but the exceptions are few and far between in this age of entitl...
