No you’re right, that’s NBA. Would they call a flagrant 1 for it then?

Re: Fresno Coach
Because of the no fans did anyone else hear the Fresno coach chewing out the refs after their final missed three with under 5 seconds to go. He yelled at them and said cmon two technicals on us and they were in the bonus with 8 mins to go, total bull (I can't express myself without swearing). Shoul...

Re: To people who say that we need to recruit shooters
The 3 ball is the great equalizer. It allows less talented teams to beat the blue chippers. It eliminates size and athleticism discrepancies.

Re: Iowa State?
Between Minnesota, Iowa State, Kansas, Indiana, & Utah (likely openings)-- I think it's VERY likely Smith is gone. Good grief!!! Based on speculation by sports writers whose job is to stir up speculation, we have determined that he is VERY likely gone? We are a paranoid bunch. I don't know how he f...

It would help if Shulga would start hitting threes.

I sure hope he stays. So versatile and if this new lineup with Anderson, Bean, and a big can work he should have lots of playing time.

We need a poster shot of that Bean save. They were all GATA tonight. The between the legs hike that quarterback RW had was great and not just a showboat play, but was about the only way it could be saved and passed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I've heard about the hike pass all night, but I ...

Re: Bairstow
What happened is he was doing decent, but not separating himself. Shulga has played solid and is starting to take his minutes. Add in the fact that Worster is back and there is just not many minutes right now for Sean. I feel bad for him, but such is life. Why do you feel bad for him? He has had pl...

Re: Bairstow
I think that lost rebound was a huge turning point in the Boise game. Smith said he would adjust the lineup for big boy basketball. Shulga fits that.

Re: I believe that Shulga will become a starter next season
May be right. But over who? Right now Marco, Brock and Rollie are expected back. I put Shulga over Marco. Marco is just too limited in his game, and Shulga has the complete package as a guard. I know, right. Marco played terrible tonight with his 8 assists and shut down maybe the best player in the...

Re: Paul Weir out at the end of the year in New Mexico
This is a mistake by New Mexico. Weir is a good coach and needed another year or two to build his program. He was handed a mess by Neal and because of pressure to succeed immediately he went heavy on the transfers. He brought in some top transfers, but injuries and discipline issues kept him from ev...

Re: Any word or updates - Worster?
I'm out of the loop and wanted to know if anyone has an injury update on timetables related to RW. I would be shocked if he plays in the Mountain West Tournament. That outside bone of the foot gets all the weight transferred to it with every step. I agree, it’s asking a lot to expect his fracture t...

Re: Doubling Down
If Boise plays SDSU this week I’ll officially change my handle to Mr. Buttface. As of right now if they finish 1st place, they’re essentially guaranteed an at large with their resume as long as they don’t lose game 1 of the MWT. They go and lose 2 at SDSU and they’ll have to win the tourney to get ...

Re: Lineup changes, Big boy basketball
Bean has been a major disappointment this year. It may not seem like a big deal, but him going 0-1 from 3 last night in a (essentially) one possession loss is a killer. He’s shooting 17%, it’s pretty much a turnover when he shoots a 3. It’s the problem the Jazz had back when they had Gobert and Fav...

Lineup changes, Big boy basketball
Based on the tweet I saw I’m guessing Smith mentioned the need to change up lineups in the postgame? Here’s one I think is overdue and I know it may not be popular, but I think Anderson is a much better fit alongside Queta than Bean in the starting lineup especially with our lack of shooters in the ...

Re: Mrs Duryea
I get the feeling that the Duryea's actually believe that Tim would have been able to pull of what Coach Smith and the boys accomplished in their first season here. That’s exactly what they believe. You could hear it in Tim’s last coach’s show after he was let go. No way in hell would Brito, Taylor...

Re: Sam in the G League
I don't know that the Bucs have done Sam any favors with this. NBA teams have their own G-League team with coaches who are connected to the organization and work with the NBA team to develop players. Usually the G-League team is tightly linked to the NBA team in they things they want to coach and d...

Re: Sam in the G League
Not a great game today - just got his third foul in the first half. They called him for a block and he was standing there for like 10 seconds before the guy ran into him. Any points? I tuned in just in time to see him go to the bench. It’s rec league style basketball in the G League that’s for sure...
