I worked at Taco Time in Brigham City when I was 16. We called crisp bean burritos "Waldos" and the crisp meat were "Reds". Re: Draft Day!

Did the Jazz pick of Butler tip their hand on what they plan to do with Conley? I don't see how they can afford him. I don't think so. Butler is a bit of a combo guard and can probably play some of both positions. I'm very confident the Jazz will re-sign Conley. Spending a future first to get off F...

The MWC will still be the MWC. A couple teams might get snagged by the big12/new AAC but will backfill with nmsu or ndsu etc. That's all. We are at the kiddy table. Except it. We just have to look forward to cheering for our alma mater in the little league tournament. But at least we're the awkward...

Re: Suits and ties

Odom dresses for success and is a pretty consistent classy dresser so I expect him to wear a fancy suit (with or without a tie). His staff also wore suits while at UMBC so I don’t expect they’ll veer from that. Regarding Smith and his staff, he changed things up a bit. Can’t say I ever recall him w...

Re: Holy Utah Jazz

What an epic disaster. Horrible series by Snyder and Gobert. Worse for Niang and Favors. Ridiculous. I better hear some guys take some responsibility. I didn't see a single adjustment. 80 freaking points in the second half. I mean, my hell. Have some damn pride. Quin Snyder deserves to take a ton o...

Re: Holy Utah Jazz

It wasn't just tonight that Rudy was exposed. Basically during the 4 game streak by the Clips they decided to roll the dice that they would benefit much more offensively than they'd give up defensively by going small. Snyder didn't adjust.

Re: Holy Utah Jazz

Jazz built an entire defense around a guy that gets tentative when he's not the help defender coming over the top. Every time guys went directly at him tonight they scored over him. He didn't even try to get out to the 3 pt line to defend. He gives you very little offensively, so if defensively he's...

Wells brought us 2 wins in Provo right? I'll always appreciate that. Having said that I originally estimated he'd have a 3 year stint in Lubbock and that's exactly what I think will play out. He can fall asleep at night on a pillow filled with money.

I always thought we missed an opportunity not utilizing his outside shot more. He has a sweeter stroke from deep than Bean. As evidenced by how his FT % improved I think with enough reps he could've been good for 1-2 threes a game.

Defense, defense, defense. We had to throw the ball to Queta on offense because he was the only one that could command any extra attention from the defense. Our offense was incredibly inefficient and ineffective all season. We had a freshman PG that was inconsistent and turnover prone, Marco who cou...

Barring another player on the team leaving (which I still put odds at about 50%) it looks like we're done. Let's assume Brock Miller is a go. Re: The hopefully definitive 2021 transfer portal thread

Nevada's biggest little new addition: https://twitter.com/NevadaHoops/status/1385355753003880451?s=20 I assume Grant Sherfield had a role to play in this transfer coming to pass. Dang. Nevada can recruit the portal. A little jealous! Reno vs Logan 7pts 6 rbs per game doesn't overly excite me though.
