I still remember talking to Aggies22 prior to the season about the team and simply stated “Utah State just doesn’t get guys like Ian”, boy was he right! (as usual)

Re: Current State of USU Basketball
It was hard for a lot of guys to get in a rhythm last year. Just stand around and watch Great. I think Josh and Ian have a lot of potential to improve with more movement and freedom with the ball. It was noted several times during national broadcast games, including the TCU game, that our offense w...

Re: Great Osobor
It sounds like Kentucky did in fact land Great Osobor on his visit. Which I mean, good for him. I am very intrigued to see how the SEC goes for him. Freaking Mark Pope though. I hate that guy. It seems like we were probably going to keep him until that Kentucky offer was just too good to pass up. I...

Great is a very good player. It also feels like he missed open layups in nearly every game.. I see him as having a career in Europe. Kentucky has traditionally had one and done talent going to the NBA. Saying Great is a great player for us but may not be a great fit at Kentucky isn’t an insult. Hel...

Sorry my Aggie brothers, I was at the movies last night with my wife and kids while a lot of this was going on. I have confirmed that Garrison Phelps and Jackson Grant will not return to next year's team. What movie did you see and was it any good? It was Argyle. Very James Bond/Mission Impossible-...

Any chance Calhoun is opening up NIL money for Ian with this move? I’m not sure what Phelps was getting, but maybe it was $25k or so.

Any word yet on Wynott @aggies22? His commitment might be more impact full than Great's. We are no longer recruiting Kase Wynott. Why though? Seems he’d fit the system… High school recruits are a thing of the past for us I bet. I fully trust Calhoun at this point. Let’s go Aggies! There is no reaso...

Re: Current State of USU Basketball
If Great leaves, I personally think a need is a bigger, more physical player in the post. I love Big Fish and the addition of Gateretse. But the MWC is a physical conference. Will Templin develop enough to play that role next season? I hope so. But I would like to see another big body veteran (mayb...

Kentucky Twitter is slobbering all over the idea of getting Great. If you search Great on Twitter it's tons of fans hoping/begging for him to come. Re: Current State of USU Basketball
With Martinez and Osobor probably gone, we should pursue Shulga and Mostafa. I suspect that Shulga is consider on the market much less than Martinez while Mostafa is being overlooked. Both players fill a need and probably affordable. Mostafa per 30 stats with TCU was 8.7 points 4.6 offensive reboun...

Thanks for the breakdown. This is an upgrade over Sakho and allows for a Twin Towers rotation if coach wants to run with it.

Re: Current State of USU Basketball
I’m on the verge of dropping college sports fandom all together. I don’t want to, but this is all so disheartening. What’s the point? There is no joy anymore. (I can't express myself without swearing) it all. I had plenty of joy this past year and we did it by bringing up 3 unknowns and a P5 player...

Re: Current State of USU Basketball
Am I the only one that thinks Ian is probably worth the $200k in NIL money he’s asking for? Like that ask doesn’t seem crazy to me for a player of his caliber in a universe where Dallin Hall wants $600k and Steven Ashworth is getting $400k. Ian is a better player than either of those two. In a vacu...
