Re: I was wrong
UW is a sleeping giant. The right coach can turn them into a powerhouse. Sprinkle is likely the right coach. As long as the dating situation doesn't get in the way. The absence of family distractions may have contributed to his success as a head coach. I know I was able to do so much more work when...

I really thought Sorinkle would stay for all the reasons I mentioned. He is going to a bad situation and should have waited for a better opportunity. Other than the money, he will come to regret this decision. A top University Great City Triple the salary NIL Money Top Conference Triple the salary ...

Re: Head Coaches that we should consider
Gregg Marshall is still available. If we're going the baggage and ethics route, what's Kermit Davis up to these days? If we're talking ethics, Will Wade was fired for basically using NIL before it was legal. Back in the day it was illegal to smoke pot. Today, nobody cares. What's wrong with Will? I...

Re: Final game observation
I missed the first half as I was at church. I watched just a little of the second half and had the same observation, so I shut it off assuming that it was one of those games. I'm looking forward to AI reffing games in the future and at least calling a game evenly if not perfectly.

Re: Javon Jackson
I've been enamored with his play for a while, but I was at the SJSU game, and he hit what seemed like five 3s in a row. Combined with how level-headed he plays the rest of the game, he quickly became one of my favorite players on this team. It's hard not to like all of them based on their attitude a...

Re: NCAA Tournament Seed?
Right now in the NCAA bracket matrix, USU is a 7 seed, but right on the cusp of being a 6 seed. I actually think if we can beat Wyoming & then SDSU, we would become a potential 5 seed in the tournament. Assuming Nevada moves up 1 spot in the NET, we would then become only the 5th team in the entire...

As we had discussed on here at his retirement, players entitlement and the nil/player environment was a reason why saban retired. He doesn’t say it directly, but today’s system is not in a good place. https://twitter.com/cfbrep/status/1765439581560725817?s=42&t=oEPf7RUmI96RyYhTpF6PGg It's interesti...

Re: College Football 25 Teaser Trailer
It's so cool that they pulled off all 134 schools when a year ago they weren't sure it was going to happen that way. It's also cool the service academies will be in there too. Their student athletes can't make NIL deals and so there was a concern they might not be in it. Now, if we can get 80 to 85...

Re: Watched a little bit of film on Georgia State
How's their defense? That's all that matters, just outgun them and outlast them, it's the Aggie way. I think you mean outgun them then play to not lose for a few infuriating possessions while they close the gap then try for points in desperation mode and pray that they make a stupid mistake so you ...

This is really all about Title IX, as female athletes probably aren't getting much NIL money.

Just stop watching it at that point. More eyeballs means TV execs will continue to funnel money to the top tier. When we stop watching, they will eventually stop paying. I've been leaning more towards professional sports anyways. My feeling is if colleges are going to pay athletes (which they have ...

Not sure how good a coach Bassett is. That being said below are some statistical rankings for USU that the offensive line would have a large amount of affect on. Re: Transfer Predictions
Using a variety of transfer trackers, I came up with about 40 players from last year's team that transferred. My count had it at 14 on offense (1 to P5, 5 G5, 3 non-FBS, 5 not rostered) and 26 on defense (9 to P5, 1 G5, 3 non-FBS, 12 not rostered, 1 medical retirement). I know that some turnover is...

Which game do you all hope gets replaced? NM SDSU Hawaii Wyoming @ Boise @ CSU @ Nevada @ UNLV Personally, I wouldn’t mind swapping the Boise road game with a trip to WSU or OSU, which wouldn’t count towards conference standings. We have a favorable schedule other than @ BSU and could pile up a bun...
