Re: Most Boise fans are expecting a tight game

The offense was good 2 weeks ago, and the defense was good last week. If we can get both on their A game this Saturday it should be a good, close game. If not, Boise could win fairly easily.

Are we expecting any basketball recruits to sign today? Rollie Worster is the only commit I can think of, is he planning on signing?

If be tempted to bet the farm (no pun intended) on Fresno. They're not any good, but neither is BYU. Until USU has a game where they play better than they did the week previously, I'm going to be skeptical.

Jordan won’t be with us next year. He’ll either be in the NFL or transferred to a P5 school with better talent.
Yep. It would suck to see him transfer, but I wouldn't blame him. He'll only do it if our team isn't good enough to help him get in the NFL this year.

Jordan has thrown a lot of screens to guys that had no blockers and a defender within 2 yards. He'd be better off just throwing those away.

Wow. Clearly we should just run sweep after sweep to the edge and we should score 70 on them. Surprised a Bobo coached team played that poorly.
Let's get Deven Thompkins running some of those JoJo Natson jet sweeps.
Exactly what I was thinking.

I'm much more concerned about the pass defense than others seem to be. I'm afraid when we play a team that is designed to pass, this secondary will get absolutely smoked.

I love Ricky and he's undoubtedly a great guy, but Mike Conley fits so much better with the team. The Jazz will be much better with Conley than they were with Ricky.

Any word? The mystery recruit that was mentioned by Coach Andersen at the coaches show on Thursday has not given a verbal commitment yet. Are we still planning on him committing? I did get that impression but I could not give you a timetable. Be honest with us. It's Noah Sewell, isn't it? ;)

I hate international basketball. The teams (NBA or college) with skin in the game can't ban it in good conscience, but they have no upside and it seems like players get injured pretty regularly on international duty.

Does he really not throw the ball by holding the laces? Is that normal? Good catch, 2004. Definitely a strange pic. Do you folks understand why the ewe of ewe does not want to schedule USU ? The only reason is fear of losing, playing USU in SLC with a great shot at being beaten is not what they desire. USU has never been able to force the ewe of ewe to do anything like making us a member of the WAC we were black...

Reality is, if Neemi is picked in the first round, even #30, he'll make more money on his rookie contract than most of the rest of us will make in a 40+ year career. It'll end up being somewhere over $6million. That's equivalent to $160,000 per year for a 40 year career. If he has a chance at the fi...

I think Sam could make it in the NBA, but he would need to find the right team and situation. I see him being a bit like Joe Ingles, but more of a combo guard while Joe is a wing. Both are lacking in athleticism, but make up for it with basketball IQ, good passing and good shooting. Despite the lack...
