Re: Sprinkle press conference at UW
I'm not crazy about how some of this stuff went down (clearly moving toward the UW job in at least February), but I do think Sprinkle is genuine. Ever since the rumors really started catching fire I've believed that UW was one of just a few jobs he'd leave for after 1 year at USU due to his history ...

Re: Who should be our next head coach!
I'd be excited about Chris Mack. He had crazy success at Xavier before things fell apart a bit at Louisville.
I'd want him to have some strong assistants with western ties (like Andy Hill), but he could be good if he were interested.

To be fair, Brenchley played like 20 minutes all year and Mason just entered the portal in the last few hours.

Re: An unmentioned dark side of NIL
I can see that start to change. IMO if we are going to be paying these "students" over 100k per year to play, then they University should use that scholarship for someone that needs it more. I honestly wonder how these "student athletes" are able to finish a degree at all. I would love to see what ...

Re: New Head Coach Contracts
I asked this at an event with Jerry and he said that there are a few issues with it. First, when a coach leaves they are buying out and canceling the remaining terms of their contract. That would likely include the clause that the coach needs to schedule a home and home. You could possibly tie it t...

Re: Keeping Our Guys
The issue with international students is their visa. If they're on a student visa they have pretty tight certain work restrictions. I expect lawyers have found a way around it. Also, worst case, hire a family member for creating a twitter account with 0 followers and have them post once a month.

Re: Aggies22 missed twice but I still love his posts
I disagree that he missed with Sprinkle to Washington. He said that Pope was willing to undercut Sprinkle in hopes of getting the job and that Sprinkle to Washington wasn't a done deal due to that. Clearly, Washington still wanted Sprinkle so it ended up happening. I'm entirely confident that what A...

Re: Head Coaches that we should consider
Top Choice: Henderson from South Dakota State would be a good fit. If he could bring a few players with him such as Mayo and Kyle, that would be excellent, although I've got to think Mayo may have some level offers. 2nd: Kowalczyk (Tol): the guy builds winning programs and not just a winning team. ...

Call me crazy, but I don't think he would have taken any port in a storm (like Odom). I don't think he would have taken the Oklahoma State job even though his name was connected there. I think he's a Washington fan. His sister lives there. I think Washington was one of only a handful of schools he w...

Let’s compare the positive and negatives of Tunka versus Simon for our next head coach…. Someone in the know, please chime in. Let me start by saying that Simon seems like a really solid coach, and I think he would do well here and be around for a while. BUT, there's really no comparison. Tunka is ...

Never made the NCAA tournament, and has always lost in the first round of the NIT, but some of that is being in a (typically) 1 bid league.
