Re: 2024 USU FOOTBALL SPRING BALL: The Quarterback Battle

Hillstead was fine with his timing in the pocket until he took that vicious double helmet to the head shot. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3gshJxhtDdw that was cheap shot by the UCONN defender. And no replay for leading with his helmet on that punk a$$ linebacker either. For sure should have been ...

Got to enjoy the home opener for the Cubbies on a rooftop across Waveland. Inside the park homer…with three errors…yikes. Game was frigid and wet for the second half but still good to have baseball back! With all that said…Go Braves!! https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20240402/ffff5ec9d54a1a874fddef9...

It’s cute how they still refer to WSU as a P5 job when they are headed to the WCC and won’t be able to offer anywhere near what the old Pac12 teams can

I thought it was a dirty play when I saw it…this replay just confirms it. Number 23 seems to be cheap shot dirty player type. The Chaz Spicer buzzer beater to beat Utah was one of the best I’ve been to. I happened to be attending with my boss who was an SJSU grad and wanted to hear what the Spectrum was all about. Needless to say he came away thoroughly impressed.

… is that they don’t whine about calls and piss down their legs at the slightest adversity. I am not convinced we’re going to be good yet, but I appreciate that they aren’t whiny and Charmin soft. It’s an old saying that teams take on the attitude and mindset of their coach. Seems to be true here. ...

Utah State and run a full court press is not something I thought I ever see in the same sentence…but I agree with this team and the athletes we have and apparently the depth it might make sense to run it this year.

I expect to see defensive lapses in the second game of the year it’s why they play these kind of games. Add several days of practice and some film to review and I think you’ll see an improvement in that area against Bradley. I’m cautiously optimistic we have a special group this year. Sent from my i...

Our seats are in section 106 which is about mid field and row 51. My guest is a really big guy so I’m not too worried about anyone bothering us sitting amongst the Hawkeye fans.

I was able to be at both of those games and the joy of the win in Anaheim and subsequent court storming erased the awful feelings of that home loss. We got the last jab and it counted.
