Local Offers
I am seeing a ton of local offers being given out by the new coaching staff.
Great to see them working in the state.
The ultimate goal should always be to find the best athletes whether in the state or out of state.

Re: We now have two official Q1 wins.
San Diego State reached #30 in net rankings. Colorado State jumped 15 spots to #40 by beating Boise State. Only bad news is Utah State only moved up one spot to #55 after the win last night. You would think with two Q1 wins that we would at least jump four or five spots. I guess that lost with UNLV...

IMO those hoping or counting on Zapala to be any kind of consistent contributor are going to be very disappointed. That includes Smith then cause in his own words Zapala “is going to be a star”. Smith has made a living off of recognizing potential and then maximizing it. I'm going to side with Coac...

Re: Who the New Coaches Are.
Guys, this Polynesian pipeline that you keep talking about is long gone. It's like saying we need to re-invest in Horse and Buggy because that worked for us in the past. No. The best Polynesian athletes all go to Pac-12 schools. Look at Oregon versus USC in the PAC-12 championship. For some reason ...

I think it was important we keep the two Poly coaches we did. Good PR and good for recruiting.
While not as important as it once was, the poly pipeline is still deep and we need to get what we can.

This is as close to practicing as you will get with not many fans.

So, I never played football and am out of the loop. But, I have an 11 year old who wants to try tackle football. He is 177 pounds, has a motor, and can get quite competitive. We live in Smithfield and just wanted some advice. Where should I be looking to get him on a team? Are there some YouTube vi...

Re: Savon Scarver
In the NFL, how many kickoffs do you see get returned? The role of a KO returner isn't nearly as valuable as it once was. Scarver has talent. But if he wants to get drafted and make a team, he needs to improve his receiving skills. If he can be a returner and be a serviceable receiver he could get d...

I have actually been thinking all along that this was all about an "ignored or implied " just"." That is really the only thing that makes sense given what we do know about what was said.... We "just" tried it (Frank) and it didn't work. I would love to know what question was asked.

I like Chico (he was at Snow back when I was there). He ran a very good offense. I was all for him becoming the coach back when Guy was hired. But after that, the ship has sailed. And if this is his dream job, he only stayed here for a year before going to Tennessee.

A former Aggie who is close to Corner Canyon said the coaches have already been in communication with that school. Which is more than the old staff did. Corner Canyon is probably the best high school in the state right now.
