Chuckie is on my Mt Rushmore of USU football. That won't ever change. Right next to Merlin and Phill Olsen and Elmer Bear Ward. JLove to round things out. Didn't forget Bobby Wagner Throw in Patrick Scales while we’re at it. You'd be an idiot to leave Diondre Borel off. You know who else beat BYU a...

Lame choice if he chooses Wazzu. He won't make the tournament, ever. Washington may make the tournament as a 10, 11 or 12 seed with an 17 or 18 win season. Utah State? Well we saw what a Utah State season looks like last year. Yah. I know other schools have more money, but winning matters. Can you ...

Isn't a coach's job to recruit players? Are we praising people for just doing their jobs? There's going to be a long list of people to praise. LOL, you are rough. They are praising people for a job well done. Or are you telling us everyone performs their job at the same level? You exceeded expectat...

Every time I see this thread I read it as not a fan of Subarus. Which is fighting words in Utah. TBF I grew up and my parents had a Subaru station wagon. We also had a Subaru Justy when I was a toddler butone if my sisters took that to college. I think I remembered it, but not really. This post gav...

I don't disagree that she has a lot on her plate, but she is the CEO of a multimillion dollar dept. Have a minion call and say something, anything, we can't afford to alienate any Salt Lake media. I'm being told that Tunka is the pick and if you say "well he's dead" let me just add that on Tuesday at the announcement there will be a grave exhuming. I was told by my sister that Tunka Tollison was at the Thomas & Mack center for both of our tournament games. He was sitting near Jerry Bovee, no...

cloogers seem to be in denial about Pope wanting the Udub job. Why would he want to coach for his alma mater, get a pay raise, live in Seattle, access Big 10 resources, etc., when he could coach in Provo? End sarcasm. A 2-15 mw team shouldn't be a trap game. They should be a comfortable win for the top team in the league. It would be a big worry to lose this game, but I don't see that happening This! Have we really played anyone yet? Or will MW play be a HUGE wake up call? Are we better than BSU, CSU, UNM, SDSU, and UNR? I think we will compete with all of these teams, but I don’t think there is a clear favorite in the MW this year. CSU and SDSU have the best player’s in the conference in Ledee...

Time heals I guess. My memory is you guys are giving Kohn way too much credit. He was a poor coach, poor recruiter and poor communicator. Sitting at the end of Knight’s bench keeping stats didn’t help him much. He may not have had much of a recruiting budget, but that was no excuse for how bad we w...

Should we be a top 25 team right now? We keep finding ways to win games, even if it is ugly, but I watch highlights of other top 25 teams and I feel like we don’t belong. Wouldn’t it be funny if our first win over boyze in a decade comes because their players refuse to play in protest of a questionable comment Boise’s president makes about the interim head coach and we win by forfeit? The purist in me prefers grass. The realist in me, especially here in the NW, wants turf. College and up can probably get by with grass, but here with all the rain, it almost has to be turf. One weekend of soccer or football is more than most grass fields can handle. (We are now a baseball family, ...

AF is always tough but not sure what to expect as Sam Houston is awful on offense. AFA's offense doesn't seem to be as potent as years past. Our offense will need to sustain drives. How disciplined can the defense be? Not sure how much experience Cauthen has at scheming for the triple option. One t...
