Re: Why can't I be excited for next year?

I hate to say it, but many of the issues we had this year go back to coaching. Lots of penalties, poor tackling, poor blocking schemes, poor play calling, and yes, even chronically dropped passes all fall back on the coaching staff. Luckily, all these things can be fixed, but the coaching staff is g...

Re: Jason Shelley

Jason Shelly helped contribute to one of the darkest years of Aggie football that I have seen in the past decade. Was he the only cause of the issues we experienced, no probably not, but he was certainly a catalyst. He divided the locker room, threw temper tantrums when he didn’t get his way, and wa...

Re: Queta Draft Question

It would be foolish for him not to go if he knows he is going to be drafted. Who knows what next season holds. His stock is high. If he sticks around one more year and gets injured during the season his stock would hit rock bottom. Take the money and run!!!

I wouldn’t want last season to be my last season as a football player either. I’m sure all of them are looking for something to wipe last year out of their memory banks.

After last season I would be shocked if we won more than 4, but with the players the new staff has brought on, and the excitement they bring, I think 6 may be within reach. If they make it to a bowl game next fall I will be doing back flips.

Re: Frank's Statement

It will hamper Polynesian recruiting no matter how this ends up. the Polynesian community is so close knit that they will take Frank’s word over Noelle’s word anyway. This will hurt recruiting for several years to come.

Certainly better than Boise Enjoy this one, it might be the last for awhile. Really? Some of you must have forgotten how far we have come in the past 10 years. Sure, there are some things that need to be figured out in the off season, but complaining after a potential 8 win season is a bit harsh. U...

Re: The problem this year....

Yup, it’s not so much that they lost that makes me feel so sad as it is the way that they lost. I can’t remember a recent Aggie team that has just rolled over the way they did last night. There was little effort, and even less heart. I felt the same way against Air Force and BYU.

Yup, I went in to see what the “flash sale” was all about I laughed out loud. The deal they did last year was awesome where you could get any seat in the stadium for $10. I bought several over on the west side and gave my east side tickets away to friends. 3,000 seats at $10 is better than 3,000 emp...

Re: Beginning of Season..what if I told you

What if I would have told you at the first of the season that the team would accomplish what they have with the injuries we’ve had. I would have said that it was amazing. Sure sometimes it seems like we have under achieved, but the schedule this season has been brutal. Last year it was a cake walk. ...

Re: How to beat AFA

The secret to beating Air Force is to get up on them fast. If ever there was a game to pull out trick plays and long bombs early on this is it. This will force them to throw the ball to play catch up. Besides that, you need good linebacker play to beat the option. I think we have the personnel to st...

Re: Defending Love

The offensive line is not good this year. opposing teams can rush 3-4 guys and still regularly get pressure on Love, not to mention, they are not opening up any running lanes for the backs. However, a good coordinator can help make up for this. our offense is so vanilla that it's painful to watch. I...

It would be nice if you could buy a ticket today. I have a buddy that has been trying to buy the seat next to him all morning. It wouldn't let him buy it online. You also need to remember our competition last year was not great. Had we played a team the caliber of Wake Forest last year, I’m not sure the outcome would have been any different. Last season we barely beat Wyoming and Colorado State. Let’s at least give it a few games before we hit the panic butt...

Yup, it hurt because it was well within grasp, but you have to understand that it takes some time for a team with so many new parts to gel. Put the Heisman talk to bed with three interceptions, and not winning the game. However, the kid still looked good overall. 24 total tackles, 18 solo tackles, 1 sack, 3.5 tackles for a loss, one strip and touchdown called back due to a penalty. The guy wasn’t just good. BYU will lose this and it won't even be close. Utah won't even have to open their play book. I hate to say it, but I could see Wilson getting hurt somewhere in the first four games. The kid likes to run, and in my opinion he was lucky to stay healthy last year. If he runs like that against the first...
