Re: USU still @55 after SDSU loss

I think the loss that hurts us the most is Air Force, or course, the BSU game was in the bag.

Plot twist: this is all a cruel psychological experiment. None of the votes actually affect anything. They are just randomly changing numbers.

1) We could have had a much larger lead with 8 minutes left had he come back into the game earlier. You assume that everything would have been the same with him in the game as without.

2) Points in the final 8 minutes are worth the same as points in any other part of the game.

Re: How Ugly was this game?

Would have helped if Merrill didn’t have to sit for almost half the game. What could have been a pretty special night for him was taken away by the refs. Or we could have put Merrill back in much earlier in the 2nd half instead of guaranteeing that he wouldn't get much playing time. I never underst...

Re: 600 Wins in the Spectrum

It really is amazing how dominant we were at home for a long stretch. For example, over the four year period from 11/3/2007 to 11/19/2011 we were 89-1 at home - 98.7% Over the 15 year period from 12/27/1996 to 11/19/2011 we went 222-13, or 94.4% (excluding exhibitions). Of the 13 games we lost, 5 we...

Suggestion: include a column that includes the current home winning/losing streak as a result of that game. For example, 12-wins would be W-12 and 2 losses L-2.

Is #4 the highest ranked team we’ve played since the Tark UNLV teams? Can’t remember what Gonzaga was ranked when we played them. I think it probably is. The title of the OP will be the title of many offseason coaching videos. Brito's two handed chest pass for the game tying layup was technically a thing of beauty. John Wooden would be proud. Oh, wait... He could have just hurled the ball up in the air and the game would have ended before it landed....
