Re: St Mary’s

This is a revenge game for them, as they’ll obviously use last year’s beat down as motivation. A team sans Queta and Merrill (or even with a hobbled Merrill) probably won’t win, but I just hope that our boys compete and make it close, like a loss in the single digits.

UNCG was a bubble team and considered one of the last teams left out of the tourney last season. IDK what they had returning, but that appears to be a really good road win for the cats.

Two P5 roadies in a single season is a bit of a stretch for the likes of the Ags, don't forget that. Next season we have two P5 games, though the Wazzu game is at home. Washington in Seattle is going to be a real stretch for our guys, even if we do have a fixed and again confidant #10ve back behind...

On the KVNU postgame, someone said Gary “sounded like a guy who was wondering if he still wanted to coach” during the post-game interview tonight. I thought that sounded about right. I still don't see how this changes who we sign much. Ohio State and Alabama are still going to get the best of the best. Which one? 2010, 2015, and 2016 were all quite terrible. Out of the three, I would say this loss most closely resembles the 2010 loss. That game was over at kickoff.

A BYU team that for all intents and purposes should be 0-6 right now and has lost their star RB and are on to their 3rd string qb. I re-watched the game and it was hard to find a lot to complain about, some mistakes allowed SD to come back, but for the most part I thought we did a terrific job. But on Defense, I think we played a bit too conservative. We did great when we pressured the QB and disrupted the back field, but I al...

Always a challenge to play them...this will be a huge game for Utah State. Their Q B, while young, impressed me with his ability to see the field and make plays. Certainly a threat as a play maker. For me, this loss was tough. There have been some recent heartbreakers, sure, but how this one went down in the final three minutes... this one goes right up there with Auburn, 2011, and Baylor, 1993 as one of the worst, at least for me. Gonna feel this one all weekend.

I would love this, considering an Aggie kicker hasn’t hit a FG in an end of game situation in the 30+ years I’ve been following Aggie fball. By end of game, I mean in the final seconds or the final play of the game.
