Re: Boise fighting the MWC

I have read the contract with the MWC and BSU it would appear that the conference will most likely lose, so I expect a settlement to be made out of court. If BSU were to join the AAC we would lose up to $2 million per year on the new T.V. contract. I would doubt they even need to pay a exit fee if ...

Re: Recruiting

Keep in mind that John Gentry played at the same high school as Zach Evans one of the top running backs in the country. I've seen a ton of film on this kid and I believe He would start day one here at USU. If it wasn't for splitting carries he easily would be a top tier P5 player. It's also good to...

Re: Recruiting

So, we’re coming into the home stretch on recruiting as the dead period ends this weekend. There are a couple signees I’m excited about, but so far we seem to have a class made up of more “diamonds in the rough” types than we have had in the past (at least the last two years). I don’t put much stoc...

Couldn't disagree more, that gumbo and poboy I ate the night before the game were delicious. Well worth the drubbing, in fact.

Is the armpit of Texas worse than the icebox of Utah ?
I’ve spent a lot of time in both places. I’d take Logan every day and twice on Sunday.

Re: Sanford headed to Minnesota

I'm not a Sanford fan by any means. Our coaching staff hurt us this year IMHO and that includes GA. I guess GA couldn't fire himself, so this was the next best option. Sanford probably realized he was screwed when someone decided to leave in Yost's offense instead of allowing him to install his own...

Curious to see what the home slate looks like.
We open with Wazzu and Southern Utah in consecutive weeks.

Don’t know the conference dates, but it will be home games against SDSU, Fresno, Air Force, and New Mexico.

This is after being a dominant program for 20 years now and being 11-1 going into that game. Are their fans just bored of success? Can we ever get consistent great attendance if Boise State can't even get 25,000 to a conference championship game? I would bet a substantial sum of money that we would...

I think Fresno and New Mexico have hired well. Fresno should be back up and running after a down year, although I'm not sure if that means 8/9 wins or 10/11 like in previous years under Tedford. New Mexico is a tough gig, and despite a good hire the Lobos still will likely be cellar dwellars for ano...

That sucks, but given how our depth performed the second half of the season the coaches need to recruit the guys that will fit the system they want to establish.
