Re: Queta ughhhh

So is it just a coincidence that he may start playing at the conclusion of the fall semester? I have no insider information but the timing just seems a bit interesting. I wouldn’t fault him if it was a scholastic thing lingering from the spring seeing as he was very much occupied with getting into ...

This is the best thread about Queta in a long time.

Last one, I promise (jk, I'll probably do more):

Who walked around belly to belly
Because in their haste
They used wallpaper paste

Someone alert Craig Smith and Queta! We have a fan here who's frustrated that Queta's well-being and self-care are impacting his enjoyment of this season! I should be enjoying these games more, to Provo with Queta's health and long-term career prospects. Because I lack the empathy and emotional mat...

Elelyon means "The Most High" in Hebrew.

Just saying.
That’s a bad sign. Typically you want RBs with a low center of gravity. Maybe Riley Burt translates to The Most High is some language.

Bean is filling in all the gaps that we need. What an incredible hustle player and teammate. He is still probably fourth or fifth in terms of talent on this team, but his on-court intelligence is incredible. There are times (especially when he dribbles) that he still looks a little like a cow standi...

C is average. That isn’t a bad thing it just means that you didn’t exceed expectations and you didn’t fail. I imagine Gary himself would tell you they didn’t exceed their goals this year. Would last years staff have done better with this team than this year’s staff? Wake - I think we win LSU - no c...

Of course grades given would be subject to what schools were on the schedule and what were their records, for example we played 2 FBS schools on the road this year, we had New Mexico st. Tennessee Tech as OOC games both in Logan. Also we had 2 starters returning on Offense so perhaps that should fa...

While I have hoped for a Cheez-It bowl for a couple of years now, I find myself wishing against it this year only because of the difficulty of the opponent compared to the other options. That sounds like a cowardly outlook but outside of the first game of the season, we have yet to show up for a ga...

Fellas, let me clue you in on something pretty damn awesome. If aggies22 is correct and we nab all of these kids except Noa, Coach A will have secured the best recruiting class in the history of this program by a wide margin. If we are able to add a quality CB, WR, and RB to this class it may very w...

How hard is it to win 8 games?

Bored and I have a new baby that keeps me up late, so here is something I've dug up. Last year, 24 teams in the G5 conferences won eight or more games. Of those teams, only 13 had also won 8+ in the 2017 season. Six of those teams had a three-season streak (going back to 2016) of at least eight wins...

All these long stupid posts that aren’t even responding to what I’m actually saying. These players are de-committing because they’re unhappy with the season, or because they no longer think Utah State is the best place for them. What about that is incorrect? What about that makes you guys so upset?...

Not surprising as no one ahead of us lost. There were some teams behind us that picked up good wins, so it's good to see we didn't slide in the minds of voters. Our total number of points increased as well, as did the gap between us and Arizona. Very exciting stuff. Also nice to have a game against...

Honestly not worried about getting Queta back until sometime during MWC play. We have already locked in a good win for our resume, and I think the committee would consider his absence if we were to falter before he comes back. Let's be primed for March!

I would be surprised if we brought in someone new to start for us at corner. Between Lampkin, Adams, Grayson, Jackson, and Tatum I think we will find three guys (including the nickel). Jarrod Green has played a bunch on special teams, which in a Gary Andersen-led team means they like him well enough...
