Re: Sprinkle to Washington
Things will not change until we get a gentlemen's club in Logan. And maybe a Gordon Ramsey Kitchen. And a Taco Bell in the spectrum. And an extra 20 million in cash. And...................... Let's talk about what it would take to get that Taco Bell. I will personally indemnify whatever portion I c...

Re: 2024 USU FOOTBALL SPRING BALL: The Quarterback Battle
Best Guess: 1. Legas 2. Barnes 3. Petras 4. Hillstead (once they see he isn't head and shoulders better, they'll use the redshirt) I think it is possible that Barnes is a better QB than Cooper, but the advantage in playbook and receiver familiarity is not something I'd underestimate. Quite frankly, ...

Re: Was the whole team observing Ramadan?
We definitely looked sluggish, but thankfully we won't be at risk of playing back-to-back nights again this season. Would love to get Osobor rested up (he looked absolutely gassed) and Falslev feeling a little better in the next week. Everything is house money from here on out. That's a good observ...

The Rebs are the hottest team in the MW right now, but aren't mentioned anywhere in any bracketology articles that I've seen (at least not reputable ones, though there are many and I don't see them all). They also are de facto hosts next week in the tournament. If the Rebs 1) beat Nevada this weeken...

Re: Who so you want at DC?
With having to let a "friend" in Cauthen go, this may cause Coach Anderson to steer clear of hiring Danny Gonzales. Unless he is explicitly directed to not hire a friend, I am assuming he will look to someone that he wants to have around and will fall in line (like all other coaches prefer when the...

People that hate Barstool definitely hate how well done this bowl was. The Barstool Bowl would be a considerable upgrade in terms of overall experience from the Potato, New Mexico, or Hawaii Bowls.

YBA's Christmas Wishlist: Isaiah Neyor
If I remember correctly, we had a decent relationship and shot with Neyor the last time he was in the portal before the big schools started sniffing around. He's on scratch-and-dent pricing now, and I think he'd be a great target for us to essentially replace Vaughn if he's healthy. His last year at...

Can't wait to see these guys really ball out next year. Wherever they end up (because we know our budget can't hold onto them) I'll be rooting for them! fixed Plenty of teams with NIL limitations are holding on to plenty of high-caliber guys. We can't because Blake doesn't know how to manage player...

Re: Stopping donations, done caring.
It’s clear our coaching staff doesn’t care, if Blake and/or Cauthen survive this the Athletic Department doesn’t care. Why tf should I? This is an embarrassing performance. Put coached by a numb nuts interim HC. This Boise team isn’t good. We are just back to being an embarrassing program at the ab...

Re: Fall Camp Post-Scrimmage Depth Chart #1
Initial thoughts: - QB: Really hoping the leap from Legas is real. No pressure, but he's the difference between 4-8 and 8-4 this year. - RB: I like our top three; I'm hoping we run for 175ish yards per game this year - WR : Not a ton of depth; put those starters' names on your local temple prayer ro...

As Larry mentioned, you could do two larger divisions at the cost of only seeing some teams once every 8 years at your home stadium.

Re: A Return to the Skyline Conference
A few notes on what is already a concept that won't happen: 1. I'd switch out UTEP for UTSA. 2. I'd love if AFA opted for an independent schedule instead and we could replace them with SJSU or Texas State. 3. This conference would be just as competitive if we replaced Wazzu and Oregon State with NDS...

Spoke with Arrington's coach a few weeks back. I don't think we are seriously in the mix. Great to have him on campus and it lends us some credence with others/does a good job of showing Texas coaches we are serious about their kids. Our coaches are definitely doing the right things, building a good...

It’s true what they say:
Anytime you have a chance to snag an undersized QB that completed less than 60% of his passes in the fourth toughest JUCO league you’ve simply gotta pull the trigger.

Pretty sure you aren't allowed to mix school and player when it comes to NIL. So you could either have a player name and number on a non-school jersey, or a generic jersey number with no player name on a school jersey.

Call me a stickler, but renewing a contract that would have been renewed irrespective of who is acting as our AD and is hard to consider a “donation” based on what the arrangement entails doesn’t really count in my eyes.
