Agreed.StanfordAggie wrote: ↑Today, 12:46 pmI'm confused why people were excited about Simon, who also has zero tournament appearances, and less wins over a shorter career than Kowalcyzk. I, for one, think that this is a fantastic hire.

No replacement for Sprinkle. Mark Pope to Washington. I believe 22 has the best info available, but with this one I'm still in wait and see more. It does change my expectation from 1% of Danny staying to like 25% though. If Pope wants out, which is great news but very surprising, he will have suito...

It is also worth noting Ian had a game-high 22 points last night. He’s taken some lumps on this board recently. Awesome to see him playing better of late.

Re: the MWC 2 seed would actually help our NCAAT resume
It’s an interesting world where beating a team on the road counts as a loss because you didn’t blow them out by far enough. A major flaw in the NET in my opinion. IMO, the NET formula doesn’t put enough weight behind the result of the game (W/L). Far too much emphasis on efficiencies (and by proxy,...

Kobe Brown was pretty impressive. Don’t think we had anyone who could guard him. Though Princeton figured it out. Crazy to think how many NBA guys we’ve faced in the tourney over the years. Re: Coaches Luncheon 3/4
I think you're supporting my point. SDSU, Boise, CSU all pay their coaches in the same ball park yet they've kept their coaches. Why aren't those schools viewed as stepping stones? My guess is Brian Dutch likes San Diego, same with Rice and Medved at Boise and Fort Collins. Why don't coaches like L...

It does suck that we seem to be the only successful MW program that can’t keep a coach. Blows my mind that medved, rice etc never get mentioned. Not like they get paid more CSU is in 7th place in the mwc. I'm more surprised about Dutcher. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I feel like Dutch might b...

Our basketball team this year is a lot like our championship football team in 2021. We had a coaching change followed by (1) very good luck in the transfer portal, (2) very good luck that many seasoned players elected to stay and play for coach A, (3) suffered no major injuries that year that didn'...

Lots of Wednesday morning quarterbacking but the most egregious blunder of the night was Hutson not having his team to foul before Brown had a chance to launch his shot at the end of regulation. It was for sure dumb. Also great job by Great to set a screen for Darius to make it harder to get a foul...

San Jose has played a lot of good teams really close on their floor and they played us well in the Spectrum. To me that is the toughest but AFA also creates challenges. For the analytical types on here, does this help us in the race for the #1 seed? This makes it significantly more probable to get the 1 seed while still losing 1 game between now and the end of the season. We guaranteed a 1-3 seed now if we only lose one more game. Also takes control of 1st out of ...

He never took a shot during the 2nd half while I was watching, but assisted on about every other Olympus bucket it seemed. Yeah, Jordy wasn’t looking to score. They won the game by ~30. He is a phenomenal passer and a big guard. 1146 career points 921 career assists Gonna be just fine at this level.

While some are dissing Mason and Ian for their lack of offense, it should be noted that they, and Brown completely dominated their highly touted guards. Butler and Trammel were non factors. Re: Conference Title Odds
Be nice if SDSU, Nev, CSU, UNLV and NM all get a 6th loss by the end of the regular season. Add in hopefully a Boise loss at SDSU and that gives the Aggies a buffer of being able to lose 1 game and still have the tiebreaker with Boise. That being said I hope the Aggies are focused and can win out a...

The team clearly adjusted from CSU. Love coach sprinkles ability to make adjustments during the week. CSU destroyed us in the paint, where our physicality and defense were non-existent. I think we are somewhat blinded by Great's stat lines. He had 3 or 4 times that many turnovers in the game so I'm not sure why it only shows 2. Hell, he had turnovers in back-to-back possessions twice in the game. He lost the ball going up with it several times and threw the ball away on fast break...

The difference between NFL postseason and college is that NFL postseason, you take it first, then if you get matched, you get it third with a chance to win. Whereas in college, if you get it first and subsequently third, then there is a fourth possession that the opponent gets. Rules are… The NFL's...

Re: 49ers players didn't know overtime rules
I know people are making a big deal out of this story but what would the players have done differently if they knew the rules? Seems like a nothing story to me. They take the ball first. With the old rules if the first team scores a TD the game is over. With the new rules, the 2nd team has a chance...

Those are good points. Their game plan worked well. One of the reasons it worked so well is how physical they are at home. The Aggies will play better against them at home. The Aggies shot way too many threes which is not a recipe for success. Credit the Aztecs on making threes as they are not a go...
