Re: Angry sports dad

Went to oldest grandson's flag 🏈 game in Layton last fall. Kindergartners. He had a teammate. Cute little guy. By little I mean absolutely monstrous huge for his age. Mom and dad also huge, so no surprise there. Black folks. Folks as nice as you ever saw. With that huge body, and a kindergartner's ...

There is one thing about how highly contagious COVID transmission is supposed to be that I do not understand. Re: Outrage, or at least displeasure with Cancelled MWC Sports

One thought I had about G5 conferences cancelling is whether it is financially less harmful to schools to cancel the season versus playing but without fans. Game-day expenses for travel, both home and away games, as well as officials, standby medical personnel, lights, field maintenance, etc. are ea...

Right, Likely every conference ends up cancelling. If the SEC holds out and plays I could see Ohio State, Michigan and Nebraska want to leave the conference though. Football programs of that magnitude aren't going to be happy not playing while others are. I don't, that is a messy slope they probabl...

I went to a game at Towson a few years back. It was like a mini nba arena. Luxury boxes, 2nd tier, fancy lights- but it was still smaller. The layout made things feel further away and the concourse was much worse. What do we really hope to gain out of spending $80,000,000-$125,000,000 on an arena. ...
